You can now embed audio, PDF, and Zip files in note articles!

As of August 25, 2025, note has consolidated its posting buttons into one.

Since the posting buttons were consolidated, it is now also possible to embed audio in articles.

You can record audio on your smartphone or upload audio files from your PC. I have summarized the detailed steps below.

Steps for inputting audio on a smartphone

Tap the "Create" icon at the bottom of the note app.

"Create" → "Write an article"

Tap the "Write an article" button.

Tap the "+" button

Tap the "+" button at the bottom left of the article creation screen.

Tap the microphone icon 💛 You can record for up to 5 minutes

Tap the microphone icon labeled "Record".

Tap the black button.

Once the button turns red, recording will start.

You can record for a maximum of 5 minutes.

Tap the button to stop recording

Tap the button again to stop the recording.

Set a cover image

Set a cover image on the next screen.

Select an image saved on your smartphone and tap "Save".

You can adjust the image display area here.

(A square image will be displayed)

Enter the title and author name

After inserting the image, enter the title and author name.

You can set whether to allow file downloads on this screen.

Tap "Insert" to embed the audio file into the article ↓

You can also get a share link for saved drafts and view previews

I saved this as a draft for now and wrote the article on my computer.

While in the saved draft state, you can also get a link for sharing or display a preview.

You can also embed audio data saved on your computer into your article.

On the article creation screen, click the "+" button to open the menu.

Select "Audio" from the menu.

You can embed audio data up to 100MB in size.

Supported file formats are MP3 and AAC.

According to the official note article, playback at 0.5x to 4x speed is also possible.

Videos, PDFs, and zip files can also be embedded

Previously, you could already include links to images and videos in text posts.

In addition to audio, you can also embed files such as PDFs and zips.
