What if you don't want your images to be used?

It's great when your images registered in the "Everyone's Photo Gallery" are used for article headers, but...

Have you ever felt uncomfortable when your image is used in a certain article?
(e.g., gambling, adult content, or negative articles)

In such cases, it is possible to prevent your image from being displayed in the header.

Steps to stop image usage

Open the article where your image is displayed.

Click on "Stop using this image in this article."

A pop-up will appear asking, "Do you want to stop the use of your image in this article?"

Prevent this creator from using your images

You can also check the box that says "Prevent this creator from using your images in the future."

Click the "Stop" button, and you're done!
The article in question will no longer have a header image.

Creators have the right to choose which articles display their images!

If your image is used in an article you find objectionable, you as the creator can stop its usage.

I believe creators have the right to choose whether or not their images can be used.

I have also had instances where the header images of my past articles were no longer displayed 💦

Perhaps it was used in a way that the creator found objectionable...
There were also cases where the creator of the image had quit note.

Rest assured, the other party is not notified

Even if you stop the image usage, the creator using it will not be notified.
