I mean, even Ohtani-san couldn't touch last year's Cy Young winner Skenes, and the first inning ended in a flash...

But then in the bottom of the inning YO!!

Today's starter, Lauer, gave up back-to-back home runs, and it started with us down by two runs YO!!

After the nightmare of the Angels game the other day, and with Skenes pitching, honestly, it felt pretty bad to be down early...

Pages also had an error because he forgot his sunglasses, so there was that too...

But we got one run back immediately in the 2nd, and another in the 6th to tie it up 🙌✨

Suddenly, the rain started coming down hard (though commentator Mr. Kobayakawa said it wasn't as heavy as it looked on screen)

In the pouring rain, Lauer, who had pitched well, was replaced by Klay, and the game continued in the rain ☔, reaching the 7th inning tied!!

Today, this is where the drama begins 😆!!

In the rain, Rushing, who was called for catcher's interference while running to second in the 5th, got a hit, and Freeland followed with a hit too!!

And here comes Ohtani-san, who hadn't done much against Skenes today 😍!!
