"Your tongue 👅 is so beautiful ✨," they said (*Φ∀Φ) hehehe♡
I went to the oral and maxillofacial surgery clinic yesterday.
I had been feeling an abnormality, a numbness in my "tongue 👅," since around August of last year, but
I just really hate hospitals...😩
I finally got around to it yesterday...
or rather, since I wasn't doing anything about it despite feeling the abnormality,
my husband got fed up, made an appointment for me, and forced me to go,
which is a rather embarrassing story...
I followed along in a gloomy mood. (Hey! It's your own health!)
Even so, it was just a local dental clinic, so it wasn't anything overly formal.
A young and beautiful dentist examined me first,
and after a diagnostic interview, the clinic director took a look.
The result was that they saw no abnormalities.
They kept praising my "tongue 👅," saying it was "so beautiful ✨, so beautiful ✨,"
but they mentioned that for my age (..)(😆) my saliva production might be a bit low.
They said that stress is the biggest factor for a decrease in saliva production due to age, and they persistently asked if I had any stress, but as a lazy person, I can't think of any right now🙅♀️❌
Then they asked if I was taking allergy medication, and I said yes, I am🙋♀️⭕ (I'm currently taking medication for a UV allergy💊).
It seems that when saliva production decreases, you can feel abnormalities like numbness or pain in your tongue👅.
Also, it seems that if you are infected with something called Candida, you can have numbness or pain in your tongue👅, but they said it didn't look like I had that.
As I was listening to the explanation, saying "uh-huh," my husband, who was sitting on a small chair as my escort, seized the opportunity and
snitched, saying, "She's glued to her computer💻 all the time~🤨"
Then the clinic director said, "Ah~🤔 So you're clenching your teeth~"...
No, no~, I'm not clenching my teeth while doing note...
Seeing my confused face, the clinic director said,
that the posture I take when facing the computer might be causing me to clench my teeth and reducing my saliva production.
They told me to look up, open my mouth and stick out my tongue, or
rotate my tongue👅 at least once an hour.
They also said that just lifting the corners of my mouth will produce saliva, so I should keep them lifted.
Ah~😌
But I'm glad I got it checked out~😊
Since August, the numbness in my tongue 👅 had been spreading day by day, so
inwardly, I was very worried, but for some reason, I kept ignoring that abnormality 😓
Even though my followers are constantly warning us in their note articles to "not overlook abnormalities!," I ended up ignoring even that, so I truly regret it from the bottom of my heart... 😣
Still, I was worried, so I got medicine for Candida and a mouthwash (it had a kind of salty taste 😕) and stopped by Hama-Sushi on the way home. (As for the picture of the sushi 🍣, I forgot to take it, as is my usual, predictable self 😔)
When I got home, I felt a bit down, so I couldn't reply to comments yesterday. I am so sorry (>_<)💦

It feels like I talked at length about going to the oral and maxillofacial surgery just to make this excuse ( ´•ᴗ•ก)
Thank you for sticking with me until the end (୨୧•ᴗ•)◞ᵗʱᵃᵑᵏઽ*♡
