vol.6 A year of encountering emotions I didn't know.
Finally, I asked a question I had really wanted to ask.
"If you could say something to yourself from a year ago, what would it be?"
My daughter thought for a moment, and these were the words she spoke.
"I've become able to say what I want to go to, what I want to see, and what I want."
She told me that a year ago, she couldn't voice any of those things.
Her favorite artists and voice actors,
the things she liked, the things she loved, drawing pictures—
always because she could be 'satisfied' from her own perspective, she didn't try to seek anything more.
I was the one who pushed her. But it was my daughter who took the step forward.
She joined a fan club,
and chose to face what she liked head-on.
My daughter joined a fan club and tried seriously engaging in 'oshi-katsu' (supporting her favorite).
And then—
"I saw a view beyond my own perspective.
I encountered emotions in myself I didn't know."
As I listened to my daughter talk like that,
I was filled with the feeling of wanting to shout,
"Whaaaat!"
I never imagined she had experienced such a huge change.
I'm happy. I'm just so happy.
And it was a year where I felt from the bottom of my heart
that I was glad we did it.
Lastly ✎𓂃𓈒𓏸
Supporting her favorite wasn't just a hobby.
It might have been a time for my daughter to face herself and nurture her heart.
For me, too, it became an unforgettable year.
To everyone who has read this far.
Thank you so much •*¨*•.¸¸♬︎
