I received the baton. (Karaoke edition)
I opened note for the first time in a while, and I'm very confused right now.
How do I write again...? It took me five minutes just to start writing. Am I okay?
By the way, my last post was four years ago. Long time no see, note. Sorry, note.
With my apology to note out of the way, I'll get into the main text.
The reason I decided to write on note for the first time in a while is because I received the baton from SHIGE-neesan.
It's a karaoke baton.
Karaoke... I haven't been in a long time...
But I actually quite like karaoke, and I enjoy it with my family, friends, or sometimes even by myself.
As someone like that, this is a song I probably always sing at karaoke.
Kishidan 'Ware-ra Omou, Yue ni Ware-ra Ari'
Apparently, this song was the theme song for 'Kamen Rider Ghost'. (I haven't watched Ghost)
In the theme song for a children's show,
People die, they definitely die
Someday you and I will die too
I'm surprised that they use the word 'death' so casually.
Although they use the word 'death', they are of course not singing about something negative.
'Because there is "death," how do we "live"? Well, this is how I live.'
That's how they are singing it.
Kishidan's songs are easy for me to sing, and I often sing this one too.
Kishidan 'Tomoyo'
This video is from THE FIRST TAKE, so it's a little different from the original, but it really hits home, and that's also good.
I often sing this song too. I can't sing it, but I sing it. Yeah, I can't sing it, but...
SHOW-YA 'Genkai LOVERS'
I can't sing this, you know. I can't. But I want to sing it.
Because Keiko Terada is so cool. I think it's absolutely impossible, but I want to be like Keiko Terada.
Singing this song is really tough for me, and every time I sing it, my sons say,
'Mom, are you dying...?'
They say that.
It's true that in the middle of the song, my voice sounds like the death throes of a chicken or sheep being strangled, and I'm exhausted after I finish singing, so it's no wonder my sons say that.
My path to becoming Keiko Terada is far... no, maybe it doesn't exist.
There is no path to Keiko Terada, but there is also no path to this one. Maybe it doesn't just not exist, it's 100% non-existent. Since it's 100% non-existent, I just put the song into the karaoke machine and then barely sing it, just talking about my favorite artist instead.
That is this song,
Omedetai Atama de Nani yori 'The Resistance'
For those who don't know, I'll write it down: the line in the middle, 'Hey you two, stop fighting,' is the voice of the vocalist Sekihan (a man), and it's not like a girl suddenly appeared. Being able to express everything from 'cool' to 'cute,' that is Sekihan.
By the way, Omedetai Atama de Nani yori is currently on hiatus (tears), but I believe that one day we will definitely be able to 'compare answers'.
So, I've never sung this at karaoke, but please listen to it.
Omedetai Atama de Nani yori 'Kotaeawase'
So, I received the karaoke baton and was able to happily finish writing my first note in four years. Thank you to SHIGE-neesan for passing the baton to me, and to Michael-san and Chainner-san for organizing this.
I wanted to introduce various other things, but there were no YouTube videos, or there were, but they felt like 'isn't this an illegal upload?', so I couldn't introduce them. So, for those I've met in real life, please invite me to karaoke.
Uh... by the way.
I couldn't find anyone to pass the baton to next...
I'm sorry.Chainner-san, I'm passing it back to you! Next, please!
