A mother of 5 loves her family (including herself) ~Passing the baton~
I am shiiimo, a mother of 5.
Since my husband had to go to work today.
As I cannot work from home, I took a paid day off and
spent a relaxing time at home with my eldest daughter.
I took my eldest daughter along to pick up my second daughter.
We walked to school together, holding hands.
My eldest daughter will come along if it's just a short walk to school once in a while.
It's hot, isn't it?
As I said that while holding her sweaty hand,
my eldest daughter replied, 'I'll change my clothes when we get home...'
Since she's always at home,
she's not very good with the heat.
But she didn't let go of my hand.
If I can have time like this,
paid leave is meant to be used.
Now then.
Recently.
Around me,
a project was launched to list 10 of your own good points,
and boost your self-esteem! GO! GO! GO~~~!
or something like that (was that the vibe?),
and various people have been passing the baton.
It was such an impressive lineup of members... (pardon me for mentioning you, bow)
It seems people are either receiving this baton on their own,
or nominating others to pass the baton along.
Because of that, I feel like I haven't been able to keep up with all the articles.
If I, shiiimo, have missed your heartfelt article,
please let me know so I can apologize and visit your page...
So, this project.
Everyone is re-examining their own good points.
Thinking about themselves anew.
Having others find good points in them too.
And interacting through comments.
Wow... what a peaceful project~~
A gentle world... hehe...
From the sidelines, I, shiiimo,
was watching with a smile.
(I'm not scary~ it's okay~ I'm just smiling~)
And so, I was nominated by Genchon-san.
Oh boy, things are starting to get busy...
After all, Genchon-san managed to list 15 things so effortlessly.
The altitude of their self-esteem is truly top-notch... (gulp...)
That said, I'm also the type who praises and encourages myself.
Because I realized that makes life much easier in many ways.
Hoo~~ nice, nice shiiimo~~~~!!! (praising myself in advance)
So, shall we give it a go~~!
10 good things about shiiimo (the title is embarrassing)
1. I love my husband more than anyone in the world and am loved by him
This is where I overlap with Genchon-san.
"You're cute today too,"
my husband always says. Blushing
Now, if you ask, "Well, shiiimo, how are you really?"
I'm the kind of girl who is cool (or wants to be told I am)
to the point where little kids at daycare pickup
ask, "Whose dad is that?"
I have an undercut and a very short haircut.
I have a strong perm.
(No, I actually wear quite heavy makeup... that's strange...)
But when my husband calls me cute, I get happy.
That's just what being a girl is, right?❤️
2. I cherish my family
The family I built with my husband.
The parents and siblings who raised me.
I also cherish the in-laws who raised my husband with care.
Especially my own children, who are facing all sorts of things.
Mom will protect you with all her might,
so you can do whatever you like.
3. I don't neglect communication
Every day, whenever I pass my husband or children in the house, we touch each other a little✋
On the arm, back, head, or butt🍑.
That's our family's way of communicating. (I don't do this with others, of course)
Not just with family,
but with friends and at work, I value conversation, smiles, and nodding.
I want to cherish comments on note as well.
4. I can stand by students
Instead of fitting them into the student profile the school wants
or past statistics,
I face students as one individual to another.
5. I can talk to anyone
I can develop a certain amount of conversation with anyone.
I've never participated in a group blind date, but
if I volunteered to be the mood maker,
I'm sure I'd be the type that no one would call after the party!
⑥ Physically robust
I've given birth to 5 children.
I returned to badminton matches 3 months after giving birth.
*shiiimo has undergone special training (my hobby since junior high has been doing sit-ups).
Don't try this at home, kids 💛
⑦ I genuinely love writing
I love writing, so I can basically enjoy it.
Of course, sometimes I get stuck, but at those times,
"I... am creating something right now!"
shiiimo gets excited 💛
⑧ I can find the good in people
I especially demonstrate this when correcting student resumes or practicing interviews.
I talk to students who say they don't have any good points,
and I can find plenty of good points for them!
(It's not some weird seminar, I promise!!)
⑨ When I get into something, I stay into it for a long time
Once I get into a game or manga, I'll support it for life.
I've been playing badminton for about 23 years now.
If you get into me... you won't be able to get out...? (Maybe I should be quiet now)
⑩ My mentality is like a 'gyaru'
I mean, if your mentality is like a gyaru,
it feels like you can do anything, right?
Seriously, am I not the strongest?
You guys should keep a gyaru in your hearts too.
Seriously the best, gyaru is the best! YEAHHH☆☆
shiiimo gets excited by herself and then calms down
Oh, sorry about that.
I ended up getting excited by myself and talking about each point.
...Who benefits from this?? Oh, right, I guess I do.
But, facing myself like this,
might be the first time since I did self-analysis as a student.
I preach the importance of 'self-analysis' to students.
I was able to remember the important act of 'looking at myself' that I had also forgotten.
Thank you for letting me participate in such a wonderful project!
And apparently it's a nomination system, but this is a real dilemma...
As a beginner on note, it would be presumptuous of me to nominate someone so soon...
However,
there are many people who would love to see
what kind of 10 good points would be listed for this person...!
I am one of them.
Among them, this time,
from among those who have frequently appeared in the comments of the articles posted above...
Ryoyan-san!
If I may be so bold, I have nominated you... oh my...
You are a senior as an educator, and a senior on note.
Even though you are an amazing person from whom I have learned so much,
you always interact with someone like me from the lower world in the comments. (Worship)
As an educator (co-educator),
how do you view yourself, Ryoyan-san?
Personally, no, I'm sure everyone is curious about this too...!
I know you always have a weekly schedule for your posted articles, so
I hope to see it someday... when you have some free time...
while thinking that✨
I see, this is definitely an unreasonable request! (laughs)
I say this after having already nominated you.
Please don't feel burdened by it...!!
I will conclude my article here!
Thank you for reading this far.
I hope everyone stays well tomorrow too🍀
