Information about the workshop at the Zushi Beach Film Festival. *In addition to the workshop participation fee, an entrance fee for the Zushi Beach Film Festival is required.https://zushifilm.com/
A special cooking workshop enjoyed with Shigeko Watanabe, also known as "Geko-neesan," an Afro-cuisine researcher who shares world food cultures based on her experience living in Brazil, Senegal, and France.
The setting is Senegal in West Africa. We will work with our hands to make street food like "Fataya" and breakfast items such as bread filled with bean paste seasoned with spices and herbs. There will also be plenty of stories about local breakfast and snack culture.
Furthermore, the bread baked in a pizza oven has an exceptional taste that only freshly baked bread can offer.
Eat, make, and feel the atmosphere of the African streets.
Come join us for a special moment to enjoy with all five senses.
