Hello.
I'm Natsu, a nurse and mother of two.
I use AI to create things that make life easier and a little more exciting.

In this note, I write freely about the things I've made, my trials and errors in daily life, and the things I love.

This time, I'm introducing AI art styles.

Honestly, even if you have an image of what kind of picture you want to draw, don't you find yourself thinking things like,
"What style is that??"
"What should I call it?"
"How do I convey this to the AI??"
"Or rather, what does a crayon style look like anyway?"

So, I've put this together so you can visualize it while looking at actual illustrations.
I'll be putting together similar summaries by style from here on out, so please 'like' this so you can look back on it later.

Also, I'll be compiling more art styles and coloring techniques with images, so please follow my magazine if you'd like.

By the way, all the illustrations were generated using ChatGPT.

List of hand-drawn and picture book styles

This is what it looks like in a nutshell. Apparently.
I asked my Mac (ChatGPT) to do this.
It's easier to imagine when there are actual illustrations, isn't it!

From here, I'll take a look at each one, enlarging them for clarity and providing examples.
To make them easier to compare, this time I've tried drawing a 'cool teenage boy with short hair' in various art styles.

In some cases, the content of the sample illustrations differs slightly between the summary image and the individual images.
However, I would be happy if you could view them as a reference to get a feel for the art styles.

Even with the same settings and composition, the impression changes significantly just by changing the art style!
AI illustration is so interesting!!!

I didn't even know some of these art styles until I looked them up this time.
Styles like felt art or paper cutout aren't things you'd normally think of when drawing pictures.

By the way, I am currently prototyping a tool that allows you to create prompts just by selecting these kinds of art styles, line art, and coloring methods.
It's still in the experimental stage, but I'll introduce it again once I can make it easier to use.
