Hello.
I'm Natsu, a nurse and mother of two.
I use AI to create things that make life easier or a little more exciting.
In this note, I write freely about the things I've made, my trials and errors in daily life, and the things I love.
This time, it's about parenting diaries.
I've thought many times that I'd like to keep a parenting diary.
The cute things they said today.
Things they couldn't do until yesterday, but suddenly could do today.
Things I reflected on a little while looking at their sleeping faces after I got angry.
Things that were tough at the time, but make me laugh a little when I look back on them.
Truthfully, I want to properly record those little things.
But by the time night comes, I'm already sleepy.
Putting the kids to bed, cleaning up, preparing for tomorrow.
By the time I finally open my smartphone, I have no energy left to write proper sentences.
Even though I have plenty of photos,
my feelings from that day just keep flowing away.
“What were we talking about back then?”
“What kind of things were they laughing at?”
“What was I struggling with, and what did I think was cute?”
I felt like a day would come when I would think things like that.
So, I created a GPT that turns your parenting diary into reality just by talking to it.
The name is,
“Just Talk Parenting Diary GPT” .
It's very easy to use.
You don't need to write beautiful sentences.
You can speak via voice or take notes in text.
For example, it's like this.
“Today my eldest son said, 'I love you, Mommy.'
But after that, he spilled milk, and I got angry.
My second son didn't wake up in the middle of the night.
My chest hurt in the morning, but I thought he was growing up little by little.”
If you input a note like this, the AI will organize it into a diary format.
It doesn't just organize it neatly;
I made it so you can preserve the atmosphere of the day, including the cute things, the tiring things, and the times you got angry.
You can also choose the writing style at the beginning.
Gentle parenting diary style.
Short record style.
Note essay style.
Letter to my child for the future style.
1-page printout style.
Recent status report for grandparents style.
Monthly summary style.
If you want to change it later, you can do so at any time.
I decided I wanted to keep this free rather than charging for it.
I don't think a parenting diary is something you have to keep up with.
It's okay if you can't write every day.
It's okay if you can't record it perfectly.
It's okay to have days with just photos.
But on a day when you suddenly remember,
“Maybe I'll record a little bit about today.”
If you can think that, maybe that's enough.
Every day of parenting passes by so normally.
Spilling breakfast.
Being busy with nursery school preparations.
Scolding them for the same thing over and over.
Suddenly acting clingy before bed.
Feeling a tug at my heart from a casual remark.
There are days when it's too tough to think of it as a treasure.
But surely, when you look back on it later,
I think you'll say, “There were days like that, too.”
So, it doesn't have to be a proper parenting diary.
Just talking.
Just taking notes.
Just having AI organize it a little.
With such a relaxed format, it might become a little easier to keep a record of parenting.
I've made it available for free, so please try using it if you'd like.
You can keep the diaries you create in a note app, Google Docs, or print them out and put them in a file.
If you think, “I want to keep them so I can look back on them later,” there is also a way to put them into NotebookLM.
If you accumulate diaries, you can later ask things like
“What kind of growth has there been recently?”
“What words appeared often this month?”
“Summarize the tough things,”
so it becomes easier to look back on than just saving them.
I'd like to write about how to use this in another article as well.
A place where my future self can look back one day.
A place where I can show my child a little bit when they grow up.
I can't record everything about parenting, but
I hope I can at least record one little thing from today.
If you'd like, please let me know in the comments or by message how it went when you used it.
I'd be happy if I could improve it little by little while you use it.
If you'd like to record a little bit about today, please go here.

The theme of this note is“Turning all of life into a note”
Parenting, housework, home building, household management, AI side business.
It's a place to record what happens in daily life, organize “what is difficult,” and create a system that makes things run a little more easily.
And, not just for posting, I will record and analyze it as
a multi-genre posting experiment log of turning my whole life into content.
