What I Saw After Finishing My Writing Lecture

Today, I gave my first writing lecture as an instructor at the Secretary Creator Lab (hereafter, Secretary Lab), where I am currently enrolled.

It has been a month since the organizer of Secretary Lab asked me, "Would you like to become an instructor and give a writing lecture?" The time came in the blink of an eye.

I really enjoyed discussing the lecture content and creating the materials while thinking about what would be useful for everyone.

I also had a blast while actually giving the lecture.

One of the secret themes I set for myself during the lecture was to get at least one laugh lol.

I mean, there's no point in the audience listening to a boring talk, right? You wouldn't be able to convey the fun of writing, would you?

Actually, this is one of the themes I also keep in mind during my regular interviews.

The purpose of making them laugh is to help them relax and talk.

Unless it's a super stiff interview where laughing is absolutely forbidden (I've never had such an interview experience, and I don't want to have one either lol), I try to make them laugh as much as possible.

By making them laugh, I don't mean I want to get a huge roar of laughter; if the other person smiles, that's enough for me.

Interviews are nerve-wracking for the interviewer, but they are also nerve-wracking for the interviewee.

That's why I want to ease their tension as much as possible and have them talk a lot.

Oops, I got sidetracked.

I was able to achieve my secret theme of "getting at least one laugh" this time.

However, the real goal wasn't just to finish the writing lecture safely, but to have the writing skills of those who attended the lecture improve.

Anyone can just feel good and show off their miscellaneous knowledge, right?

It's been 5 years since I became a writer. If I count the time since I started working in writing, it's almost been 9 years.

Now that I'm finally starting to see my core as a writer and what I want to become, I truly feel that I want to be useful to someone who is struggling with writing.

I was able to realize that once again through today's lecture.

I want to convey not just about writing, but also skills for working from home and what is important to be chosen by clients.

Ah~~~~ I can't think of the perfect words ><
It's so frustrating.

But, that's what I mean. ← That's a way too rough summary.

I will continue to hold my writing lectures, so if you are interested, please take a look from this LINE.
