In truth, the Blue Oni's son worked part-time at a convenience store, and the Blue Oni had been paying for his son's pocket money to help him meet the sales quotas he was forced to fulfill for every holiday, even though this time he had happened to get them cheaply. "I see, so your friend is quite diligent about catering to seasonal events."
The Blue Oni was worried about the impact on his son's store sales.
"When that happens, let's split a hamburger in half too."
The Red Oni's good-natured smile pierced the Blue Oni's heart. I'm sorry, Red Oni, I kept it from you, but I have a family. I can only spare half of my kindness for our friendship.
