I worked up the courage to confess my feelings on Valentine's Day and was relieved when he accepted and we started dating, but it turned out he's the type to leave everything to others. Every other word out of his mouth is 'I'll leave it to you,' which is great if you want things your way, but in short, it means I have to think of and decide everything myself. So, I wondered what we should do about our dating period—we don't seem to have the luxury of a 'long spring'—and thought maybe a short-term battle would be best. I browsed various short-distance love ticket sites, but it seems everyone thinks the same way; I'd get urged on by 'Only one left!' and send him a screenshot asking, 'Hey, can I click this?' only for it to be sold out before he even replied. This kept happening, and as the shadow of another woman flickered, along with the falling snow, I had a premonition that a second Valentine's Day was about to roll around. I accidentally blurted out, 'Please give me a chocolate relay,' and the clerk, with a beaming smile, replied, 'Coming right up! One long-distance love!' (Maybe I'll stick with this guy.)
