I will be speaking at AI Festival 2024

I will be speaking at AI Festival 2024, which will be held at Bellesalle Akihabara on November 8th and 9th.

Originally, after hosting three '24-Hour AI Hackathons' in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka as a hackathon moderator, I am now fully prepared to hold the AI Festival event in Tokyo. This is the second time, following last year.

Over the course of two days, there will be panel discussions and the final judging presentation for the AI Art Grand Prix.

My session will feature a super-strong lineup where I have no idea what will happen: Karaage, an idol-like figure in the AI community; Kenichi Hayashi, who worked hard to popularize CUDA at NVIDIA and is now active at a new AI semiconductor startup; Masayoshi Nakamura, the creator of the zombie who was scolded by a certain anime master; and my partner of a quarter-century, npaka (Eiichi Furukawa).

Other sessions are also packed with ultra-luxurious guests, including J-WAVE personality Tomu Kawada of the AR Three Brothers, Square Enix AI developer Yoichiro Miyake, Professor Yamakawa who is researching whole brain architecture at the Matsuo Lab at the University of Tokyo, and Professor Yonezawa who is researching human-agent interaction at Kansai University. The keynote speaker will be Yoichi Ochiai, among many others. The moderators include Yurina Takiguchi, who does a regular radio broadcast with me, Maiko Ito as the moderator for the AI Art Grand Prix final judging, and the judges include Yoshitoshi ABe, Conan producer Suwa-san, and media art pioneer Professor Yoichiro Kawaguchi.

Unique speakers and moderators

Sponsorship booths include Intel, NVIDIA, and Microsoft, and there will likely be demos you can experience on the spot. Last year, Intel's latest chips were being demonstrated. This year, there will even be a booth for note (the company that operates this platform)!

Whether you're someone who says 'I don't really understand AI' or someone who 'loves AI,' please come to Akihabara on November 8th and 9th!
