Friends are important.

Today, I stayed in the office and focused entirely on creating documents like contracts, estimates, and approval requests.

Since these are tasks where mistakes are not allowed, I think they are quite important, but to be honest, they aren't very fun.

I had braced myself for a boring day and started working early in the morning, when I suddenly received back-to-back invitations for lunch and drinks in the evening.

The evening meeting is with people from within the company, and the lunch is with someone from outside.

The people who reached out to me aren't directly involved in my current work, but on the contrary, invitations from people with no conflicting interests are very welcome.

It's strange how, even though I thought it would be a day where I couldn't enjoy my work much, I suddenly felt energized.
