There are two types of note articles
A problem that inevitably arises when continuing to write on note is the quality vs. continuity dilemma: should you only leave behind high-quality articles, or should you prioritize continuity for the time being?
It depends on how you approach note, but basically, I want people to read the articles I write and find them interesting. However, I can't write a satisfying article every single day, and since my streak is on the line, I have to write something.
But even if I write an article just for the sake of continuity, it naturally doesn't get read or receive any likes. Even though I knew that would be the result, I still feel down about it.
If it's not going to be read, is there any point in writing every day? The worry begins, but I also really hate the idea of my streak being broken.
With my heart spinning in circles like that, and since I don't have much time, I write a makeshift article to get through the crisis, and just as I feel relieved, I feel a little bit of regret.
...I spend every day like that, and I think many others share the same conflict. Everyone who continues to update daily is battling in their hearts between the 'quality' and 'continuity' of their articles.
When I faced this 'quality vs. continuity dilemma,' I actually arrived at an answer. It is that, in the first place, there are two types of note articles.
Those two types are 'articles for the sake of continuing' and 'articles you want to leave behind'.
By clarifying this, you will be freed from the conflict of quality versus continuity. Depending on the day's schedule, physical condition, or mental capacity, you decide which of the two patterns to go with for the day.
Speaking from the empirical rule of having managed to continue for a year, articles approached as 'articles I want to leave behind' tend to be read not only in the short term but also in the long term.
In my case, this tendency is stronger for articles related to Fujiko works. For example, the very first article I wrote has had its view count increase almost every day since I uploaded it. That was an article I put a lot of effort into, and the reason is likely that the content is a classic that is easy to read (= Doraemon + moving).
On the other hand, articles written as fillers are posted on the timelines of my followers, so they get some reaction for a few days after publication, but at some point, the view count stops moving entirely.
When I see these stagnant articles, I feel a little down, but I decided to accept them as articles written for the sake of continuity.
To maintain peace of mind while updating daily, I must balance quality and continuity. I realized that as a methodology, it was necessary to write different types of articles. (Or rather, I had been doing it naturally all along.)
As we head toward the end of the year and the beginning of the new year, I am quite busy with work and my private life, making it extremely difficult to keep writing 'articles to leave behind.'
Therefore, I have to publish 'articles for the sake of continuing' quite frequently. But that is something I just have to accept.
In that sense, today, it is clear that this is a completely continuous article.
Hoping to work on a "post to keep" tomorrow, I will put down my pen.
