🏆 [Reaching 1,000 Followers, A Word of Gratitude] July 2025

It has been about two and a half months since I started posting articles on note, and I have surpassed 1,000 followers.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been reading my work. At this milestone, I want to pause and put into words why I share on note and what I have observed along the way.

■ Reflecting on why I started note

I started note for the following reasons:
To record my activities and archive the trial-and-error process of running a share house daily.
And to share primary information from the field with industry peers, prospective tenants, and those interested in the industry.

Honestly, I have always felt uncomfortable with posting on social media.
I felt that there was no clear benefit for either the sender or the receiver in sharing information.
I am the type of person who, if I need information, will research and dig into the details myself.
If I understand the background and mechanisms, I can apply that knowledge and make decisions faster.
That is why I felt that the “thinness” of primary information on social media was somehow irrational.

But note was different.

There is a lot of primary information here, and articles dug deep from individual perspectives are lined up.
Even in web searches, note is evaluated as a “reliable source of information,”
and I believe this is becauseit is the “content,” not the “buzz,” that is valued.When I encountered this mechanism, I honestly felt, “This is a good place.”
There is no need to force yourself to attract readers, and you can continue to share meaningful content calmly—this platform offered that sense of security.

■ Thoughts after looking at the share house category

Since starting note, I have looked at various other posts related to share houses.
What surprised me most was that **“even though note is a place that seeks reality, there is no reality in the information shared by share house operators.”**

Many articles end up being generic posts for SEO purposes.
Of course, that might be the “standard way.” In fact, some articles are read quite a bit. But they lack the perspective of “what do I want to deliver to the reader?”
It has become a structure that exploits the reader’s very “act of reading,”and personally, I felt a strong sense of discomfort.

What was particularly impressive was that there was almost no “primary information from the operators themselves.” What is happening on the ground? What are they thinking, and how are they acting?
Such“real records”should be what holds the most value in a place like note.

Thinking in light of the concept of note,
wouldn’t “ongoing practice,” including the failures and hesitations of the operators, be the content that people most want to read?

■ Compatibility with note

When I thought about it that way, I felt again how well I fit with the note platform. note is a place that values primary information and individual perspectives.
It is not a place to aim for buzz, but a place to build trust.

That is why I have decided not to write “thin articles” on note.
I want to provide information, realizations, and structures that only I, as someone standing on the front lines, can offer.
I want to deliver them while keeping the temperature as high as possible.

■ By the way, one recent story

Recently, when you search for “share house” on “note,” this screen appears.

Out of the top 50 articles, the ones enclosed are my own.
I realize that if you keep posting articles on a certain theme, you start to gain a presence as a “surface” in search results.

And actually, it seems that my articles are constantly competing in search rankings with articles written by 'people who look like an idol group,' and they have become my 'rivals' lol.
We are from completely different worlds, but it's somehow encouraging!

■ Through steady accumulation

This milestone of 1,000 followers didn't come from any special buzz or turning point.
It is simply the result of continuing to write articles based on real experiences, which led to them being read little by little via search, and the opportunities to receive reactions have increased.

In particular, I feel that practical know-how, troubleshooting, and records of handovers have helped bridge the distance with my readers.
Through these articles, I think I have gradually come to see who my readers are and what they are looking for.

■ Looking ahead

I will continue as I have before.
While these are records for myself, for tenants, business operators, industry professionals, or those interested in share houses,
I will continue to write down information that I deem 'necessary' with the appropriate tone and depth.

Being able to do that at my own pace is one of the great things about note.

■ Finally

I may have written this before, but one of my tenants said something like this to me.

Those words still remain in my heart.
The fact that information is not reaching the people it should is a missed opportunity not only for me but also for potential customers. I realized once again that this is an essential issue.

Responding to that voice.
That is one of the reasons for my outreach, the purpose of continuing, and my goal.

with that feeling, I am considering how to give it shape.
