My Child's Growth Felt at the Anpanman Museum After Two Years
One of the things I wanted to do during my maternity leave.
That was to take a trip just for the kids.
This time, our family of four went to Fukuoka.
The first day was the Anpanman Museum.
The second day was the Fukuoka Toy Museum.
For two days, it was a trip where the kids were the stars to their hearts' content🌿
We played at the Anpanman Museum from opening until closing!
On the first day, we went to the Fukuoka Anpanman Museum.
We went from the morning and, believe it or not, played until closing time (lol).
"I want to take lots of photos of the two of them☺️"
That's what I, the mother, was thinking.
But contrary to those thoughts, my daughter was absorbed in playing (lol).
She wouldn't let me take any photos at all😂
I had no choice but to leave my daughter to her dad and take lots of photos of myself with the younger one (lol).
But I thought that just meant she was having that much fun.
She was delighted to buy a necklace at Dokin-chan's shop and even get her nails done🥹✨
It was cute seeing her looking so happy the whole time.
And the younger one also enjoyed it while taking a nap in between☺️
Even though they are still small, seeing them play with the playground equipment together with their older sister made me feel their growth.
Surprised by the increase in things they "can do"
Actually, this is our second time coming here.
The last time was when my older child was two years old.
Back then, there were many booths where I thought:
"This is a bit difficult."
"This needs some help."
But this time was different.
The games.
Making masks.
They could do almost everything by themselves.
A year in a child's life is truly amazing.
They can do more things than parents realize.
This time, I could tell my daughter was having the time of her life, and it was a different kind of fun from last time☺️
My personal mission was also successfully accomplished (lol)
Actually, I had one mission.
When we came to the Anpanman Museum last time, we got an Anpanman bowl at the udon shop.
Back then, there were only three of us in the family.
After that, the younger one was born.
So this time, my secret goal was to get a bowl for the younger one☺️
I managed to get it and was satisfied all by myself (lol).
Just be a little careful about the parking!
By the way, we used theHakata Riverain Mall parking lot.
However, since it's a mechanical parking system, it might be a little difficult to arrive and take your time preparing inside the car🥹
If you need to change clothes or get ready, I recommend doing it at a nearby service area or similar place☺️
Also, it's not affiliated with the Anpanman Museum, so if you want to keep parking costs down, it might be good to look for a nearby affordable parking lot with a maximum rate.
It was super easy to get around since it's directly connected to the elevator.
The hotel was the best
We stayed atThe358 SORA.
This place is truly wonderful🥰
Actually, it's the same hotel we used when we came to the Anpanman Museum last time.
I looked into various other hotels for an adventure...
but because of how comfortable it was last time, I decided on this one again.
Choosing this place again was a great decision!
It was a tatami room, so it was very easy for the kids to spend time in.
Especially the younger one, who is still in the middle of crawling.
Being able to spend time without worrying about the floor is something I'm truly grateful for☺️
Also, personally, I loved the loungewear provided.
The small size for children was very cute, and it was a happy point that we could match as parent and child🫶🏻
The second day was at the Fukuoka Toy Museum
On the second day, we went to the Toy Museum at LaLaport Fukuoka.
This was also a great decision☺️✨
My older child was absorbed in playing house.
There was also a room exclusively for babies, so even small children can play with peace of mind.
And above all, it's easy for parents to spend time there🥹
Because it's a safe space, parents can also relax a little and watch over them.
And all the toys are cute!
It was also a nice point that every corner was picture-perfect📷
The family trip I wanted to take during maternity leave
These two days were only possible because I'm on maternity leave.
I made it a trip where the kids were the stars, not places the adults wanted to go😊
As time passes, I might forget the small details.
But,
The sparkling expression on her face when she got her nails done at Dokin-chan's shop.
The fact that she was so absorbed in playing that she wouldn't let me take photos.
The fact that the number of things they "can do" increased.
The fact that they played happily together.
I want to remember those little things forever🌿
I would be happy if, in a few years, we could all talk about our memories as a family, saying, "We went there that time."
