Radio programs I listened to often (2025 Edition)
About the radio programs I listen to often.
I had a note I put together in December 2024.
Exactly one year has passed, so I'll create a 2025 edition.
First, there is Find Your Music!.
It should be broadcast every weekday.
Pleasant Western music plays.
I listen to it while getting up, just to get moving.
By the way, there is the same program in the evening as well.
From Monday to Wednesday, from before noon, I listen to ALL-TIME BEST.
The song selection is meant to brighten up lunchtime, regardless of whether it's Japanese or Western music.
The songs are at an exquisite level—not too new and not too old.
The talk is also skillful and doesn't feel like a burden to the listener.
On Thursday nights from 8:00 PM, there is Shaberuzu 'Tokyo FM-rohee'.
Hiccorohee's voice doesn't disturb my living space.
She has a voice that is oriented the same way as white noise.
Even if it's not a weapon as a comedian, it's a great weapon as a radio personality.
From 10:00 PM on weekdays, there is also SUPER CAST@ZIP-FM.
It has a light, local atmosphere similar to ANN.
The listeners understand the vibe of the program, and the loose, insider feel is just right.
On ZIP-FM, HOORAY HOORAY FRIDAY is also strong.
A standout personality (navigator) in the Chubu area runs the program.
It's a program that gives you energy just by listening to it.
On Saturdays, it's Fuku no Radio.
It's Masaharu Fukuyama's radio show, which I've been listening to since childhood.
You can tell that he loves radio.
It's also nice how his personality and character shine through in his responses to listener letters.
The fact that his personality is the exact opposite of his broadcast writer's is also interesting.
Sundays are for Tatsuro Yamashita's Sunday Songbook.
The program has an elegant Sunday mood.
It's the best when I brew coffee while listening to this.
It's a program I can safely entrust my relaxation time to.
On Sunday nights, it's SUPER J-HITS RADIO all the way.
The personality has outstanding stability and is also good at talking.
The songs played are also nostalgic.
It's a program that has established its position as a companion for dinner.
For background music, there is also Soul Essence.
It's an hour of stylish and calm song selections.
There is no talk, just a music-only program.
Also in the BGM category is Groove Up Kumamoto.
A music-only program.
The transitions between songs are skillful, and its appeal lies in the fact that it doesn't cause any stress for the listener.
I happened to find this, so I'm adding it.
HEBEL HAUS CREADIO features Oki Sato speaking.
Pleasant talk.
The content doesn't really sink in, but it makes for nice background music.
That's how I'm enjoying things by making use of the paid radiko plan.
I think I'll continue with the paid plan (385 yen/month) in 2026 as well.
