Helping my daughter be reborn. And a time for our family to make a fresh start.
"I feel like I've been reborn," my daughter said last night.
*
Yesterday was the high school orientation, and she got to meet her new classmates for a little bit.
After coming home, the two of us spent time throwing away and sorting through the massive amount of paper in her room.
We've been gradually redecorating and cleaning her room over the past few weeks.
At night, I removed the parental control settings from her smartphone and tablet.
It didn't go according to the steps, so in the end, I deleted the accounts and re-registered them from scratch.
My daughter is officially free! 🤣
And that's when she said, "I feel like I've been reborn."
It feels good to throw away things you don't need.
And so many things change completely.
Physically cleaning up,
feeling refreshed,
thinking about how to approach your belongings...
I think it has so many different effects.
Maybe my daughter's feelings shifted because she threw things away and organized.
It feels like a reset and a fresh start... I wonder if that's it.
It was the day she met her new classmates, after all.
The parental control settings on her smartphone and tablet were basically just set to limit usage time.
Even so, I feel a little anxious now that I've removed them.
Since nagging her would be counterproductive, I just told her, "Please, just make sure you stay self-disciplined."
I tell myself that as my daughter grows, I have to gradually let go.
In the flow of cleaning my daughter's room, I'm cleaning other places too.
Our home is undergoing a total rebirth 🌟
It's time for our family to stand together at a fresh start.
Especially at a time like this, I want to stay calm 🌿
And I want to be HAPPY 🥰
