Ordinary Days | Life's Priorities. What's Important is the Casual Everyday

What are your priorities in life?
For me, money comes first. Haha.
I'm Kaeruko.
This time, I'd like to introduce a song completed through my service
“I will turn your article into a song!”
.
This service is also a perk for those who join my membership. If you are interested, please take a look.
The article that was turned into a song this time is this one.
It is Ken-san's article.
This time, I was in charge of the music, and Ken-san produced the video.
In other words, it's a collaboration MV.
First, please watch the MV.
Who is Ken-san?
Ken-san is a working dad raising a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old.
He shares tips on how to run a note account by fully utilizing AI without spending a dime,
and about creative work using AI.
He is someone who keeps increasing what he can do through wisdom and ingenuity.
And Ken-san values his time with his family very much.
He doesn't bring work home.
He doesn't bring note home either.
While protecting the time he spends with his family, he continues his note work within limited time.
There might be parts about how he uses that time that he can't really say out loud.
Everyone, please understand.
And please keep it a secret.
Ken-san publicly states that his priority for note is "3rd place."
1st and 2nd place are family and work.
While working on note with all his might, he never loses sight of what is even more important.
I think that attitude is what makes Ken-san who he is.
Kaeruko Fan No. 1?
Ken-san is an important note friend to me.
And he is probably Kaeruko Fan No. 1.
The definition of a fan is unclear... haha
Up until now, he has created
countless "Kaeruko Art" pieces featuring me as the motif.
He has made over 100 of them.
Normally, one wouldn't think to make 100 pieces of art of someone else.
Either he is very free, or he likes me a lot.
Probably both. Haha
Whenever I start something new, Ken-san finds it interesting.
When I show my joy, he makes something new for me again.
As we repeated those exchanges,
ken-san himself started challenging himself not just with image creation,
but even with music video production.
This music video is also a return gift
for all the Kaeruko art that ken-san has made for me until now.
To ken-san, who always enjoys my creative work,
this time I presented a song to him.
What I wanted to convey in "Ordinary Days"

ken-san continues his note with wisdom and ingenuity.
Using free tools, researching on his own, trying things out, and failing,
he keeps increasing what he can do.
In that figure, there is a sense of being smart and highly capable.
He looks dashing, and it seems like he handles everything with ease.
On the other hand, he wears a work mask when he is working,
faces his family when he is a father,
and shows yet another face on note.
While carrying multiple roles,
he uses different versions of himself in each place.
This time, I expressed that "ken-san-ness"
through rap, while rhyming with the sounds of "ken" and "en" as much as possible.
Coolly.
Smartly.
And dashingly.
I wanted to make it a song that is uniquely ken-san.
"note's priority is 3rd place"

I dug deeper into these words in my own way.
Ken is a father of two children.
He originally wrote many articles about parenting, and even now, he occasionally shares his daily life with his children.
There is laughter in those moments.
He even makes the difficult times seem a little amusing.
But deep within those writings, there is a deep love for his children.
I believe that for Ken, his children are the most important things in his life.
Will I be able to protect them in the future? Will I be able to continue supporting my family?
Such anxieties about the future might have been one of the reasons he started writing on note.
Even so, Ken says it clearly.
"note is my third priority."
That does not mean he doesn't value note.
Rather, I think it is a statement he can only make because he has been serious about continuing with note.
It's not that he never wavered.
Perhaps there were times when note, which was third, almost became second.
Maybe there were times when he almost lost his balance with family and work because he was so absorbed in it.
Even so, in the end, he re-chose what was truly important to him.
That is why,
"note is third"
I believe he is able to say that definitively.
When asked what is important, the answer is always the same.
That is where Ken's strength lies.
Small hands

In the song, Ken expressed what is important to him as "small hands."
Is what I am about to do worth letting go of those hands?
Have I become so absorbed that I have lost sight of those hands?
If I let go completely, won't I be unable to ever go back to how things were?
These are the questions I ask myself.
The phrase "note's priority is third" is Ken's own answer, realized before losing what is important.
It is not about giving up on note.
It is about setting priorities so that family, work, and note can all be cherished.
And because it is third, it can be continued comfortably for a long time.
I think that choice is very strong and kind.
The watermark at the bottom right of the screen is proof of being a non-paying user.

When I make a music video by myself, I basically make sure the watermark does not appear.
But this time, there is a watermark I intentionally left in.
That is because my partner this time is someone who is fighting in the world of note while declaring themselves "completely non-paying."
The watermark visible in the bottom right of the screen.
Normally, it might look cleaner without it.
But this time, that mark encapsulates the very essence of how Ken-san runs his note.
You can achieve this much without spending money.
If you lack tools, use your wits.
If there are limitations, improvise.
Instead of listing reasons why you can't, find ways you can.
Ken-san created such an amazing video without spending a dime.
Therefore, this watermark is not a flaw.
It is proof of Ken-san's wisdom and ingenuity.
For this music video, I think of it as a badge of honor.
Watching the completed music video

When I first saw this music video, I cried.
Because the message I put into the song,
“a heart that can cherish the ordinary,”
was beautifully expressed by Ken-san through the visuals.
It's not about flashy events.
Casual days.
Time spent with family.
Laughing with someone.
Having a place to return to.
Instead of realizing it only after it's gone, cherish it while it's here right now.
What I wanted to put into this song was there in the video.
Ken-san and Kaeruko, who appear in the music video, seemed to get along very well.
As I watched, I found myself wishing the video wouldn't end.
So, I watched it on repeat many times.
As I watched it over and over,
"Are these two going to get married?"
I even started to think that.
That is not what the song is about.
I'll say that just in case.
This is a song about the priorities of family, work, and note. lol
Finally, a story slightly unrelated to the MV

From here on, it's a story slightly unrelated to the MV.
I have been saved by Ken-san many times in the past.
Ken-san is always positive.
He doesn't say negative things more than necessary.
He doesn't speak ill of anyone.
Instead of denying people, he tries to find the fun in them.
He has high communication skills, and is bright and kind.
When someone is in trouble, he casually reaches out to help.
And yet, he can do just about anything related to note.
You can write text.
You can create images.
You can use AI.
You can perform analysis.
Now, you can even make music videos.
You are a flawless, handsome guy.
I wish you would show at least a few flaws.
Ken-san, you are one of the people I trust most in the world of note.
You've gone along with my ideas,
found my work interesting,
and supported me when I was feeling down.
The Kaeruko art and this music video,
are not just about having created works.
In each and every one of them,
"I enjoy Kaeruko's creative work"
I believe that feeling was poured into them.
That has always made me happy.
Since we are usually just joking around,
there is rarely an opportunity to say thank you properly.
So, I want to take this moment to say it.
Ken-san.
Thank you for supporting me so much until now.
Thank you so much for finding my creative work,
for finding it interesting,
and for creating so many works.
The reason I can run around doing whatever I want
is because I have friends who watch over me while laughing.
I would be happy if you would continue to stay by my side,
and enjoy creating together with me.
I will also continue to support your activities, Ken-san.
Like the two people in this music video,
I hope we can continue to spend time laughing together.
Ken-san.
Thank you so much for the wonderful video.
Ken-san has also written an article about creating the MV.
It is featured in his article.
Please take a look if you'd like.
Well then, see you all again!
see you!
