“Gundam General Election 2025” Interim Results Announced! Is Your Favorite Gundam Included?

“Gundam Info,” which has long been familiar to fans as the official Gundam information site, has closed its history, and a new “GUNDAM Official Website” has opened as of October.

On that “new Gundam official website,” the “Gundam General Election 2025” is currently being held for the entire world, and the interim results were announced the other day (11/26).

Currently, there is no mention of “which one is 1st and which one is 20th,” but since this is the top 20 out of a considerable number of nominated “Gundams,” it is considered almost certain that the top-ranking Gundams will emerge from this group.

However, since the voting results are for the “entire world,” the prediction that “if you are Japanese, you would choose around here first” is completely unreliable.

Even though series works have become available for streaming in many countries via the internet, there must still be countries where only some works are officially distributed, and fans who have only seen newer works.

I wonder what the results will be. There is a good chance that the results will change significantly from this interim announcement.

By the way, this “Gundam General Election” has a rule where you can vote once a day, and the entry period is until December 25th. It is not too late at all, so if you are a Gundam fan, please vote for your “favorite Gundam.”

Also, although it is just a hunch, I felt that there were many nominations from “Mobile Fighter G Gundam” among the target Gundams. Among them is that “Fish Gundam.” I just pray that organized voting or the like does not happen... no, there might actually be serious fans out there...

Also, comments from voice actors who have appeared in successive Gundam works are posted. I thought they would be pushing the Gundam they piloted themselves, but... rather, there were quite a few people pushing “the Gundam from when they were watching the work.” I like this kind of thing.

Recently, while featuring old Gundam works, the second part of “Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway” is also scheduled to be released next year. And this “Gundam General Election” this time.

There was also a slightly questionable Gundam at the Osaka-Kansai Expo, but it seems that the Gundam world, including fans, is expanding, and I am really looking forward to it in the future.

And then there is Gunpla... I hope the day comes when we can buy the Gunpla we want at stores like in the old days. I wonder if there is no solution in sight for this alone.

DMM Mail Order and other places to sell Gunpla at list price are increasing, though.

It might be difficult, but I have some expectations for this area as well.
