The Man Who Chases Elementary Students but Doesn't Play Basketball (Dream Diary Series)
Hello, or good evening, this is Sekitou.
This time it's the dream series, where I write down the memorable dreams I have while sleeping. Here is the first dream!
Incident occurring, incident occurring.
It starts suddenly outdoors, but the location is unknown.
While it sometimes takes place near my current home or the land where I was born, it almost never matches the actual location. This time, it was a place where I didn't think,Oh, it's here—a place I had absolutely no idea about.
Two elementary school students were walking in front of me, and after they parted ways, I followed the one on the left. Yes, it's just that we were heading in the same direction, but it's suddenly anincident.
Even in reality, when it's time for elementary school students to go home, I sometimes encounter situations like this, but I (unless it's a significant detour) take paths where there are no elementary school students. As I mentioned in an article about how my flashbacks are severe, elementary school students are a trigger for me to remember unpleasant things.
Plus, in the current climate, there's a non-zero chance of being treated as a suspicious person, so I basically don't take paths where elementary school students are present. Perhaps because of that background, even in my dream, I was thinking,I don't like following elementary school studentsjust like in reality.
However, nothing in particular happened, and the elementary school student disappeared before I knew it.
Hey, weren't you acquired by a beef bowl chain?
I arrived at an outdoor facility with abasketball court. By the way, I haven't played basketball since high school. I was super into the masterpiece basketball manga "SLAM DUNK," though. By the way, did "REAL" finish?
Setting that aside, it seems that basketball court wasrecently built with a donation from a pachinko manufacturer.
I've never played pachinko. I have borrowed their restrooms, but if I were in apachinko hall with its deafening noise for even 10 minutes, my headache would definitely get worse. That said, I'm definitely in the category of a hopeless person myself, so I don't intend to completely deny pachinko, which is like a gathering place for hopeless people.
Then, suddenly, 4 or 5 men who seem to be my companions (not acquaintances in reality) appear, but one of them threatens me. I don't remember the flow of events in detail, but when I talked about my past sports experience, I left out my karate experience.
In fact, Idid karate for a little bitwhen I was a child, but I quit immediately.
Perhaps because I have that real-life experience, I think I hid it in the dream too, but for some reason, that man seemed to know about my karate and threatened me. What he demanded as hush money was just aLotteria hamburger.
…That's cheap for hush money. In the first place, I don't even know when the last time I went to Lotteria was.
When I was a child, there was a Dom Dom Burger nearby, so I'm sure Iwent to Dom Dom Burger more often than Lotteria. Anyway, it seemed like it was more of a playful interaction than a threat.
So, I promised to treat him to a hamburger, and I thought we were going to start playing basketball, but we didn't. It pretty much ended around there.
Well,I only played basketball in PE class, so maybe it was impossible to recreate it in a dream. Where I was trying to go in the dream, who my companions were—everything ended as a mystery.
The punchline?
There is no such thing.
Thank you for reading, that's the end.
