The reason for the recent gap in posts
Before I knew it, some time had passed since I last wrote a note.
Even though I was in the workshop every day, I couldn't find the mental space to put things into words, and it felt like time was just slipping away.
Lately, thankfully, I've been swamped with work,
and I've been spending more time than usual on each and every pair of shoes.
Looking at the leather, imagining the feet, and finishing them off.
When the day ends with that repetition, there are days when I have no energy left to write.
But, strangely enough,
even during the time I wasn't writing, the things I 'wanted to write about' kept increasing.
Small realizations in the workshop and the sensations my hands remember.
It feels like those things are gradually piling up.
Amidst that busyness,
little by little, we have also been listing Grow Naturally shoes as return gifts for the hometown tax program.
It's not that we've changed anything in particular,
we are just delivering the shoes we make every day as they are.
To be worn in someone's daily life.
If that increases the opportunities for that to happen, the format doesn't matter.
I plan to write again, little by little,
about the workshop, the shoes, and my daily life.
The pace might be slow,
but I feel that is the rhythm that suits us right now.
*Grow Naturally shoes can now also be chosen as return gifts for the hometown tax program.
