Conclusion of the Miyuki Watanabe Girls Unit Audition
With the debut event on Sunday, December 8th, the long-running Miyuki Watanabe Girls Unit Audition has come to an end!!
To the 3,661 people who entered the audition, the supporters who cheered for all the participants, and everyone involved in various ways, thank you for the 267 days since the announcement on March 17th!!
As we already informed the participants before the training camp, the 6 successful candidates will be affiliated with roundcell, the same agency as Miyuki Watanabe.
And, the 7 members including Miyuki Watanabe will be active from now on as Ange et Folletta!!
Looking back, a lot happened...
It feels like the judging on mysta was a long time ago now 😅
We had a tough time back then in many ways too 💦
I'm sorry for all the trouble we caused at that time...
The selection event also became a major turning point, didn't it!
I saw a lot of footage while editing the documentary, and there was a karaoke corner that had nothing to do with the judging... I was in the judging room so I couldn't see it live, but watching it later, everyone had such great expressions.
It was a non-judging corner, but if that had been part of the judging, maybe something would have changed~
Watching the video footage of the training camp, I was reminded again of how amazing everyone's hard work was.
I've watched it over and over while editing the documentary, and it still makes me tear up...
Since there were students, 2 nights and 3 days over a long weekend was the limit, but I wish I could have given them a little more time... but there were parts that only became visible because it was 2 nights and 3 days!
And then, the final judging on 11/2... The final judging went exactly as you saw in the dTV channel footage!
We had the 9 members split into groups of 4 and 5 to dance, then each person sang, and finally, we had a dance with choreography for all 9.
Regarding the judging results, I think there will be pros and cons, but by this point, we've all become emotionally invested, so honestly, it's tough...
However, as a unit, not only dance and singing, but also suitability for the unit... the 6 people we presented at the debut were chosen from various perspectives!
Unfortunately, Remi-san, Kusakabe-san, and moe-san didn't make it...
I am truly sorry that it came to this, but these three were truly wonderful in terms of skill and personality; they just didn't fit this particular unit!
And, and, the 6 girls who passed... these girls are truly wonderful ✨
As you can see, they are all sparkling (lol)
Dance is a given, but what personally surprised me the most was the artist photo shoot! (Profile photos on the fan club site)
Wearing costumes, hair and makeup... when I think about it, they had only been in T-shirts until now, dancing until they were drenched in sweat, so their makeup would smudge and their hair would get messy (I'm really sorry about that 😅), so I was overwhelmed by their radiance!!
Rena, for example, was shining so brightly ✨ Her star quality is insane!
It's something that draws people in when they watch!
She even showed off her natural airheadedness at the end of the dTV channel broadcast, making us laugh with her 'zuko' moments (lol)
Also, for those who watched the documentary, you know that their dancing has improved quite a bit too!!
I think everyone probably thought that Mika, a dance beginner who cried because she couldn't do the same choreography as everyone else in the documentary, has become able to dance like this in such a short period of time...
5 out of 6 can dance, so it must have been really tough for Mika.
It's amazing effort to get to this level!
I almost want to release Mika's dance from the pre-lessons (lol)
She has become so good that it's unrecognizable!!
And Aoi is really good at dancing, as expected!
But Aoi was already dancing quite well even to an amateur's eye during the pre-lessons, but I went to the lessons every week and watched, and seeing it up close, you can see her evolving every day!!
Even with the same dance, she is evolving from a backup dancer to a talent's dance!
And her dancing is just so pleasant to watch!!
(But there's a gap when she speaks, which is another charm)
Kotomi was probably the busiest during this final judging.
The final audition judging and her ballet recital... practicing for both at the same time... and she's a student, so she had to study too... apparently, she was even dancing to take a break while studying for tests before the debut, so maybe her sense is even beyond what anyone imagines.
As another student, Miyuu also has amazing expressive power!
At only 12 years old, to have that quality... she's definitely lived fewer years than everyone else, so her practice time is different, yet... and she performs coolly using her small body, but the gap with the innocent expressions she shows sometimes is super charming!!
Personally, I think the wink she sometimes does while dancing is super cute ✨
minami is such a good girl!! (The others are good girls too 😊)
Her singing and dancing have a sexy image and are captivating, of course, but whenever the members move, she always checks to make sure no one left anything behind, and she always lines up the chairs and tables by herself every time... she's a girl who can do these things so naturally, and I'm just like, 'What a wonderful girl!!' ✨
Miyuki-san is... well, as you all know, I don't need to talk about it, she is perfect, no, she is more than perfect ✨
She really is amazing, I'm overwhelmed, and the engine that someone who has once been at the top of the idol industry possesses is completely different 😅
With that said, please continue to support Ange et Folletta, which now has such wonderful members ✨
I myself thought I'd have a breather now that the Miyuki Watanabe Girls Unit Audition is over... but other larger projects are already starting to move.
Probably from the beginning of the year to the spring, projects to create large idols through large auditions like this one will be running (one or two).
This time, I received various opinions, both good and bad, and I've been reading through them as much as possible, so I want to make use of that and plan a 'growing audition' that leads to the next step, including offline elements, even if there was no connection this time.
Including within mysta, auditions planned by live streaming services are fine, but it's good to plan for some kind of publication rights, but not just that, I want to create plans where not only the future of the successful candidates, but also the audition participants who didn't have a connection can grow, gain good experience and achievements, and increase their fans... and where the people supporting them can share the same goals as the participants and feel that it was fun to spend their time and money, as an otaku representative who knows the field.
