Thanjai Meals (Hatagaya) | South Indian Cuisine

A South Indian restaurant in Hatagaya "Thanjai Meals"
The owner-chef, Karnanidhi Shankar, is from Thanjavur, the town where "Sambar" was born. He also served as a chef at the famous South Indian restaurant "Sri Mangalam," which was located in Kyodo (now in Soshigaya-Okura).
Shankar-san's "Meals" features a Sambar with drumsticks, a sharp and spicy Rasam, a Kara Kozhambu with an irresistible sharp acidity, and a mellow coconut-flavored chicken curry—all as delicious as expected, making you feel the breeze of Tamil Nadu♪
Special Banana Leaf Meals are also served frequently.

Curry & Spice Aoi Tori (Hatagaya) | Sri Lankan Cuisine

A restaurant in Hatagaya where you can enjoy delicious curry based on Sri Lankan and South Indian cuisine"CURRY & SPICE Aoi Tori"
The curry at this restaurant is said to be made using a cooking method called "layered stewing," where vegetables are layered in a pot and steamed.
This layered stew curry, which is said to balance yin and yang, is exquisite!
I had Sri Lankan cuisine, but they also offer South Indian cuisine on a weekly rotating basis.

Hatsudai Spice Shokudo Wakon-Insai Tandoor (Hatsudai) | Curry

About a 5-minute walk from Hatsudai Station on the Keio New Line, you will find the spice curry restaurant "Hatsudai Spice Shokudo Wakon-Insai Tandoor".
Business hours are only during lunch time on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
What I had was the “2-Curry Combo Set”
The cumin and other spices have a nice kick, and the crunchy texture of the cartilage is indescribably good in the “Chicken Keema Curry with Cartilage”
, and the “Assorted Mushroom and Eggplant Tomato Curry”
has a refreshing flavor with the acidity of tomatoes. It’s a well-balanced curry plate that fuses Japanese and Indian influences♪

Silk Road Tarim (Hatsudai) | Central Asian Cuisine

Located about a 4-minute walk from Hatsudai Station on the Keio Line is “Silk Road Tarim”
Opened in 2010, this was the first Uyghur cuisine specialty restaurant in Tokyo. It is a precious place where you can taste authentic Uyghur food.
The “Lagman” (thick-sauce noodles (hand-pulled noodles)) at “Silk Road Tarim.”
A thick sauce containing mutton, green peppers, bell peppers, potatoes, garlic sprouts, and more is served over the noodles.
The chewy, perfectly firm noodles are coated in spices like garlic and cumin for an exquisite flavor★

Thai Cuisine Miao Miao (Hatagaya) | Thai Cuisine

Located a 3-minute walk from the North Exit of Hatagaya Station on the Keio New Line. 'Thai Cuisine Miao Miao' is on the second floor of a modern-looking building. 'Thai Cuisine Miao Miao' is located there.
The owner-chef is a Japanese person with 16 years of experience in Thai cuisine. It is a highly regarded restaurant, known for being a unique Thai eatery that serves authentic yet creatively arranged dishes.
'Hoi Tod Pad Pong Curry' (Fried Oyster Egg Curry Stir-fry) is the fried oyster version of Poo Pad Pong Curry.
Fried oysters instead of the usual crab. The crispy batter and the concentrated flavor of the oysters are so good that you might even think it's better than the Poo Pad Pong Curry made with crab.
The sweet, creamy eggs, the rich curry sauce, and the spicy chili peppers go perfectly together!
