ChatGPT × note Tips - Creator Profiling

One of the 100 things I want to do is "31. Become knowledgeable about digital technology."

Whenever I find an interesting service, I make it a point to try it out, even if it means paying for it.

Today, while using note, I'd like to share a small tip on how you can use ChatGPT in unexpected ways!

Common uses for ChatGPT

Working in the industry, I feel like ChatGPT is being used everywhere.

Extracting necessary data, summarizing text, generating ideas for catchphrases, transcribing meeting audio, and so on.

Summarizing text and generating catchphrase ideas are tasks that can take up an infinite amount of time if you try to do them all by yourself.

When you throw these at ChatGPT, (quality aside,) it outputs at a speed overwhelmingly faster than a human, and you can refine it through follow-up instructions, so I use it as a partner for drafting. (The final responsibility for the output lies with me, so I thoroughly check, correct, and ruthlessly discard it if necessary, haha.)

Here is a small tip related to ChatGPT's "extracting necessary data" and "summarizing text."

Background

When using note, you can meet many creators.

When I have time, I can read through all of someone's articles, but in my spare moments, there are times when I want to get a rough idea of "what kind of person is this creator?"

This is the prompt I use at those times.
(This is not a finished prompt, but one that is still in development.)

As an example of when you want to get a rough idea of a creator,I showed ChatGPT my own "Taishi" note creator page and asked it to profile me, "Taishi."

The responses vary each time (in terms of structure, amount of information, inclusion/exclusion of items, tone, etc.), and it's unclear how much of the note content it actually reads (it probably only looks at the creator's top page...?), but I'll introduce it as an example.

Let's look at them in order.

Yeah, it was able to extract them!
But the age is a bit off, and I don't think I wrote it in my note, but I'm in my late 30s, around 40, right now!

It's mostly composed of the keywords I've written.
However, the life goal of 'enjoying life in all directions' is strange; enjoying life isn't a goal, but rather my stance toward the process. Still, since they are keywords I've written, it's good for a rough overview.

Do I look like someone who is incredibly interested in their body, fitness, and AGA treatment...? lol
It's not wrong as a rough overview, but I feel there's a slight discrepancy with the version of myself I want to present. lol

I'm not sure if they are in order of strength, but if someone told me this is how I appear, I'd say, 'I guess so.' lol

I don't think it's wrong. It's positive!

In a word, that sounds like a serious, introverted, boring person. lol

Summary and Conclusion

So, that was a little ChatGPT tip!

*I realized after finishing writing this... it seems you can't do the same thing with GPT-3.5.

So...!

If you are using GPT-4, I think it could be a good reference for objectively seeing what kind of person a creator is, or how your own creator page looks to a first-time visitor, so give it a try!

Finally, as a side note, I have a policy of not using ChatGPT when writing my own note articles.

For example, you can write plausible how-to articles based on information from an unspecified number of people at high speed with GPT, but what I want to write is something based on my own experiences that only I can write. I believe that the presence or absence of the writer's actual experience as a foundation is what distinguishes humans from what generative AI produces.

So, I will continue to interact with ChatGPT with that stance!
