Nice to meet you | I'm Chihiro, a childcare worker and mom
To those meeting me for the first time, and to those already following me,
Hello☺︎
I'm Chihiro, a childcare worker and mom!
I write on this note about my experience working as a facility childcare worker at an infant home, and the things I've felt in my daily life as a mother of one.
Parenting isn't just about happiness,
there are times when you feel anxious, lost,
or feel down because things aren't going the way you want, right?
Even as a childcare worker,
when you become a mom, you still worry.
In fact, there were many moments where I felt distressed precisely because I knew so much.
Infant homes have newborn babies and provide 24-hour care, so I've seen many babies not just during the day, but at night too. While I think I have plenty of knowledge and experience regarding childcare and raising children,
even so,
there are worries and anxieties that come specifically because I am a parent,
things that don't go well specifically because we are parent and child,
and times when things don't go as ideally as I know they should,
there are so, so many of them.
In this note, with the themes of:
Childcare that nurtures the heart
Interactions that are close to the heart
Parenting where it's okay to be relaxed and imperfect
I will deliver information in gentle words about:
Development and attachment from ages 0 to 3,
little daily events,
and ways of thinking that make your heart feel a little lighter.
Parenting doesn't have to be perfect.
It's okay to have days where you can't do things well.
Even so,
the fact that you are trying to face your child
is already amazing enough.
Let's properly praise ourselves and our children for everything up to today.
Let's be kind.
I would be happy if this place
could be a place for you who are reading this
where you can relax your shoulders a little,
and think, "This is okay."
Be kind to your children,
and be kind to yourself.
Let's nurture our children's hearts together🌱
Here is my self-introduction💁♀️
I would be happy if you could read it if you'd like☺️
