Anti-Drop Suction Cup

I have an intractable disease called spinocerebellar degeneration.

I have had a problem for about 15 years.

It is the difficulty of opening and closing plastic bottle caps.

The impairment in my fingertips is worsening, you see.

A problem I have had for about 3 years is that when I open or close a plastic bottle cap, it accidentally flies off.

Even when I am pinching it with my fingertips, it slips and flies away.

When I am out, I have passersby pick up the caps that fly off.

In my own room, the cap rolls around, rolls under the desk, and becomes impossible to retrieve (crying).

There are already more than 10 caps rolled under my desk (laughing).

So, I have been thinking about a solution for a long time.

And what I invented is in the photo below.

An item consisting of two small 25mm diameter suction cups tied together with a string about 10cm long.

How to use it is shown in the photo below.
Attach the suction cups to the plastic bottle cap and a wall surface.

With this, even if the plastic bottle cap slips from your fingertips, it will not fly far away.

I made two, one for going out and one for indoor use.

I have 13 suction cups left over, so please contact me if you would like one.
