I am realigning the content I have been sharing while feeling lost

When you keep sharing content, there are moments when you think,
"Is this okay?" or "I feel like I'm writing without seeing a clear direction."

There are moments when such small doubts accumulate before you even realize it.

I was one of those people.

Even though I was supposed to be writing every day, I felt somewhat unsatisfied.

I have so much I want to write about, but I cannot see the core theme.

Every time I stopped, only my anxiety would slowly grow—
I had been carrying that feeling for a long time.

And the other day, when I had ChatGPT analyze it for me,
I quietly realized, "Ah, there were parts I really hadn't noticed."

Having it viewed from a bird's-eye perspectivebecame the major catalyst for me to feel that I want to realign my contentonce again.

In this article, I will write about how I am organizing the content I have been sharing while feeling lost, and in what form I will be delivering it from now on, keeping my feelings honest.

If you have ever felt similar doubts—

perhaps there might be parts that gently resonate with you.

Why I needed to realign

Since I started note, as I interacted with my followers, the genres I wanted to write about kept increasing.

That in itself was very fun, but...

At some point, this kind of anxiety started to cross my mind 🤔

"What kind of person am I when it comes to sharing content?" "Maybe the reason my likes aren't growing is because my direction is scattered..."

Perhaps, if you are a creator like me, you have felt this kind of hesitation at least once.

And the other day, when I had ChatGPT analyze my content, I quietly realized, "Ah, there were parts I hadn't noticed."

This realization became the major catalyst for wanting to realign my content once more.

Taking stock of my content so far

Since I started note, I have been posting while touching on various genres.

Looking back, the articles I have written are "things I like," "things I wrote hoping they would be useful to someone," and "things I post on a fixed day every week."

Each of them was an important theme to me.

If I roughly line them up, they look like this.

  • Research articles using AI

  • Casual quiz articles like matchstick or kanji puzzles

  • Articles related to the Happy Writing Marathon

  • Essays capturing thoughts I had in daily life

  • Art created with generative AI and insights related to it

  • Small articles born from one-off projects or sudden ideas

Looking back like this, while I think "they were all important," the genres may have become too broad, making it a bit difficult for readers to know what to look forward to.

As a result of writing whatever I felt like, I think I created a little bit of "confusion" for my readers, wondering, "Is it research today? A quiz? An essay? What's coming next?"

Of course, it is not that what I have shared so far was wrong.
Every piece is an important part of me, and I enjoyed writing all of them.

However, looking at it from the reader's perspective—
"I haven't seen many of my favorite articles lately..."
"Oh, this article today. I think I saw something similar before."

Honestly, I hadn't realized that this created a situation where it was a little difficult to reach the information or genres that readers wanted to see.😥

Looking back at it now,
each genre existed as a <dot>, and they were not connected as a <line>.

Realizing that was the big reason why I decided to review things this time.

Criteria for organization

Although I decided to review my content, I felt that if I just reduced or grouped the genres, it would likely return to how it was after some time passed.

So this time, rather than relying on intuition, I decided to set some criteria of my own. I thought this would serve as the foundation for realigning my direction.

I will introduce them one by one.

1. It should be easy for readers to imagine "what they can read today"

My content so far had a sense of surprise, for better or worse.

However, I think there were aspects that were hard for both me and the readers to predict regarding what kind of article would come out on which day.

So, what I focused on was <a design that prevents readers from getting lost>.

I felt that having a clear outlook provides a sense of security for the reader and also leads to a reason to follow.

2. It should feel lighthearted for me to write

No matter how much you think about your readers, if you are pushing yourself too hard, that strain will seep into your words.

Therefore, as one of my criteria for judgment, I prioritized genres that are less burdensome to write about.

I realized that topics that feel heavy even if I like them, or topics that cause distress even if I can keep writing about them, are not suitable for long-term sharing.

3. Not deviating from the values set in my self-introduction

By updating my self-introduction this time, the core values of my content have become clear.

  • To make the reader's heart feel a little lighter

  • I want to deliver words gently, without imposing them

  • I want to share small daily realizations

Genres that fall outside of this axis will not last long, even if they grow in the short term.

Feeling this way, I also used whether or not it fits these values as a criterion for judgment.

4. Compatibility with a weekly routine

For someone like me who continues to post daily, organizing by day of the week has had significant benefits.

  • No need to force myself to find themes

  • Easier to switch my mindset based on the day of the week

  • Readers can also easily grasp the posting rhythm

As a result, I believe this will become a form that is kind to both myself and my readers.

5. Genres connecting as a <line> rather than a <dot>

The most important thing in this review was the awareness of connecting the scattered points of my content into a single line.

AI research, quizzes, essays, and AI art.
At first glance, they all seem disconnected, but in fact...

  • Insights

  • Fun

  • Perspectives that lighten the heart

They were loosely connected by these themes.

By being conscious of this connection, I finally feel like my content has become a single path.

6. Whether the reader can feel that it applies to them as well

What I placed last is a judgment criterion from the reader's perspective.

Whether my content touches on emotions or interests that also exist within the reader.
I wanted to keep that loosely in mind.

Of course, not every article needs to resonate with everyone.

However, I feel that if there is some space where they can feel 'I understand' or 'I'm interested' in at least one part, the content will reach them much more effectively.

New genre map starting in December

New genre map to be implemented from December

I have organized the content starting from December by day of the week for clarity.

By naturally connecting the flow of the articles I have written so far, the structure is designed so that readers can enjoy it without hesitation, thinking 'this is for today'.

  • Mondays are for [AI Research], to start the week with new insights.

  • Tuesdays will focus mainly on updates related to [Happy Marathon].

  • Wednesdays are for [Daily Essays] that you can read at a relaxed pace.

  • Thursdays will continue to be [Quiz Day] as before.

  • Fridays are for [Weekly Reviews], where you can look back lightly on the week.

  • Saturdays are for [Daily Essays] that you can read at your leisure.

  • Sundays are for [AI Art], which has a stronger creative focus.

*Happy Marathon is an abbreviation for Happy Writing Marathon.

Also, I plan to continue posting [Generative AI Image Creation] loosely around Monday or Tuesday, spanning the weeks.

I have arranged each day with a focus on the unique <temperature> of that day, so I would be happy if you could feel free to come and read on the days that interest you.

*If there are any updates, I will announce them separately.

Conclusion: I hope my future posts can be a companion to some part of your daily life

Thank you so much for reading this far.

What I realized while reviewing my content this time is that even the hesitation I was holding onto only within myself became a little lighter once I put it into words.

The genres I have organized are not for the sake of numbers or efficiency, but are centered on the desire to create a form that can gently receive the reader's time.

If you have also paused in your own sharing or felt a moment of wondering, 'Is this okay?', I believe that hesitation is certainly not in vain.

Because I have been going around in circles in the same place, I feel like I can relate to those feelings just a little bit.

From now on, whether it's a day you want to read something light, a day you want to take a deep breath, or a day you want to laugh a little.

I will continue to share content that you can quietly drop by on any kind of day.

I would be happy if you could just drop by on the days that interest you, or whenever you happen to think of me.

And, if you would like—
the genres you want to read or the articles you liked—if you could let me know in a word, it would be a great encouragement for my future content creation.

I would be happy if you could continue to keep me company in a relaxed way 😺
