May 2026 [Weekly Review Note] Week 5 Review: What's More Important Than View Counts 🤔

I write a weekly review note every Saturday to look back on the past week.

I will present this by analyzing various aspects while comparing them to the previous week 😺

PVs, Reviews, and Analysis

First, regarding the weekly data.

Compared to last week, the number of views has recovered.

Each article has been gaining more depth.

While views were mostly in the 200s until now, they have reached the 300s.

I believe this is the result of the interactions I've had.

Regarding monthly data.

Finally exceeded 20,000 views for the first time❗

I'm honestly happy🥰

When I was obsessed with numbers, no matter how hard I tried, 20,000 views were impossible.

My view counts had been stagnant for about half a year, after all.

There is no doubt that the interactions I had during Golden Week were the starting point for this.

Now, I want to continue interacting while doing "my own work" so that this isn't seen as just a "fluke".

Introducing creators who caught my eye this week

The creator I want to introduce this week is Shio Minato.

The first thing I felt when looking at Shio Minato's note was that they are someone who doesn't just create AI illustrations, but carefully studies light, composition, and how to convey emotion as well.

At the center of their posts are prompt designs and production logs for making AI illustrations look even more attractive.

What left a particular impression was that they don't just stop at making pretty pictures, but are trying to get closer to a single image that feels like it has body heat and a story behind it.

The way light enters, the movement of hair and clothes, the character's expression, and the atmosphere of the entire scene.

I felt Shio-san's unique touch in the way they are conscious of these fine details to ensure their AI illustrations don't look mass-produced.

Also, from the fact that they have created a place where people can see not only their own work but also the work of other AI illustration creators, I get the impression that they are enjoying and expanding the entire AI illustration community.

Overall, my impression is that they are a prompt-research-style creator who aims for a single image that stays in the viewer's heart while adding light, composition, emotion, and narrative to AI illustrations.

I often refer to the generative AI image designs created by Minato-san.

Since I heard that the status-like character cards for an isekai fantasy I saw in Mochi-san's article were also made using Minato-san's prompts, it really sparked my creative drive as someone who loves isekai fantasy.

Things I realized reflecting on this week and actions for next time

In conclusion, by improving the quality of my interactions, my view counts ended up recovering.

The next step is to increase the credibility of the content I share myself, and things should get even better.

My action for next time, which I think will be in June, is to announce my participation in the Creative Awards 2026 and submit a work.

There are surely connections to be woven through novels as well.

And,I want to cherish the interactions that spread from there even more❗

Well, there are many things to think about, but taking on challenges is essential for everything, so let's just give it a try!
