The game I'm introducing this time is
a game for ages 6 and up
that touches on numbers and probability,
called 'Turtle Island'✨

The appeal of the game is that
while competing against others,
you must balance your own luck
to seize victory.

You are a mother sea turtle who has come
to a certain island in the tropics to lay eggs.
In the sea with rough waves,
there is only one place on this island where you can lay eggs.
Let's lay as many eggs as possible✨

🌱 [Basic objective of the game]
Roll the dice
to go around the island and get
the egg cards at the final space.
Compete for points based on the numbers written on the egg cards,
and the person with the most points wins.

🧩 How to play 'Turtle Island'

The initial setup is as shown in the photo above.
Players start from the raft.
Even though you're a sea turtle, you start the game on a raft✨

Basically, it's the same as a board game;
you start from 1,
and if you stop at or passthe '21st space',you get
an egg card worth 1 to 7 points.

In 'Turtle Island',you can roll the dice up to three times.
However,
the total of the three rolls must not exceed 8!

If it reaches 8 or more,
no matter how far you have moved,
you are forced to return to the raft (starting point).

As a bonus for rolling the dice multiple times,
on the second roll you can movedouble!
and on the third roll you can movetriple!!
the number of spaces.

If you roll a '1' at the start,
no matter what number you roll next, as long as it's 'within 7',
the number of spaces you move will also double, so
go ahead and roll with confidence!✨

The second roll was a '3'.
If you stop here, you can move a total of '8 spaces' (double the sum of 1+3).
Will you stop here?

If the next die roll is
'1 to 3', you can move triple the distance!✨
Will you go for it?

...The third die is a '5'!
The total is '9',
so since it exceeded 8,
you've returned to the raft...

If the sum of the three dice becomes '7',
you move 21 spaces (3 times 7)!✨
There's a real thrill in getting an egg in one go.

When playing with a child who doesn't understand multiplication yet,
since you rolled the dice three times,
telling them "You move the '7' space three times!✨"
makes it easier to play!✨

Arrived at the '21st space'!✨ You get an egg card!

The numbers on the egg cards are '1 to 7'.
Let's aim for the high-scoring eggs!✨

What happens if you land on the same space...?
You can hop on top of the player
who is already there!✨

The player on the bottom
must carry the player on top piggyback-style.

If you reach the goal while piggybacking,
only the player on the very top
gets the egg card.

If the player on the bottom
exceeds '8' with the dice,
the player riding on top
also returns to the starting point together.

Sea turtles naturally lay eggs at night.
If you flip the board over,
you can also play the night stage.
