Hello! My name is Satoshi.
Nice to meet you! I'm Satoshi, a fourth-grade elementary school student.I'm just a normal 10-year-old, but I love thinking about all sorts of things and trying new challenges every day. I'm especially interested in AI and future technology, and I have a dream that one day I can use my own ideas to help the world!
AI is amazing, isn't it? It's a technology that can do work in place of humans and solve difficult problems, and I think it has the power to change the future. I want to be able to use AI to create new inventions and make people's lives more convenient. I'm still studying, but I want to learn a lot and come up with my own unique ideas!
I work hard at school, but I also love to play! My hobbies are playing basketball with my friends and playing games. In this note, I plan to share the things I feel and think about!
Things I like
I love AI and future technology!
AI is a really exciting technology to me! For example, the chat AIs, self-driving cars, and robots that are popular lately are all powered by AI. By the time I'm an adult, AI will likely have evolved even more, and the way we work and study at school might have changed.
Recently, I've been interested in making programs using AI, and I'm studying by looking at various books and videos. I don't understand the difficult parts yet, but just thinking about things like "How does AI think?" or "What can and can't AI do?" is fun!
If I can learn to build AI myself, I'd like to make an AI that helps with school homework or a robot that practices basketball with me! I think AI isn't just a machine, but something that can bring out more of human potential, so I want to keep researching it!
I love basketball!
My favorite sport is basketball. After school, I love playing games with my friends at the park and practicing my shots, and it makes me happy to improve a little bit every day. At first, I couldn't even dribble well, but I practiced over and over until I could do it.
Since it's a sport where teamwork is important, I also learned to cooperate with my friends. When a teammate makes a shot, I feel as happy as if I had made it myself, and when I make one, it feels amazing!
It's frustrating when we lose a game, but that frustration motivates me for the next one. I want to keep practicing so I can get even better!
If AI develops further, maybe an AI coach that helps with basketball practice will appear. If there were an AI that could analyze my shooting form and tell me what to fix, I think I could get much better!
I like games!
I also love playing games. I especially like games that make you think and games where everyone can cooperate. It's fun to play online with school friends or play cooperatively, and it's exciting to come up with strategies together!
Recently, I've become interested in "making games" and want to try writing simple programs myself! Playing games where you can move characters freely or create your own stages has made me think, "It would be fun if I could make my own original game."
As AI evolves, the world of gaming should change too. For example, if characters in a game were powered by AI and moved as if they were really thinking in response to the player's actions, I think we could make even more realistic and fun games.
What I want to write about in this note
In this note, I plan to write about what I'm usually thinking and my life as an elementary school student!
About AI and future technology
I will share what I've researched and thought about regarding how AI is developing! I think about many things, like "What kind of world will it be if AI develops further?" or "What kind of jobs will there be when I'm an adult?", so I want to write a lot about those topics.
About school and friends
I'll share my real daily life as an elementary student, such as "What are school classes like?", "What games do you play with friends?", and "What are you interested in?"
At school, there are fun things and things that feel a bit boring. But I think you can find interesting points if you think deeply about anything, so I want to write about those things too.
Fun things and things I want to challenge
Recently, I've been finding it fun to try new things. I have various small goals, like wanting to learn programming or wanting to make something using AI.
I want to try many things while I'm still in elementary school! For example, it would be interesting to do an experiment using AI for a summer vacation independent research project. I want to write about those challenges in this note too!
