Won't you join me in supporting a winery in Wajima? [Bar Diary "From a Corner of Ebisu" #2]
I apologize for suddenly making a "request for cooperation" in only the second installment of my bar diary.
Won't you join me in supporting a winery in Monzen-cho, Wajima City, Noto, which has suffered significant damage from earthquakes and flooding?
Heidi Winery in Monzen-cho, Wajima City.
It is a small winery that grows grapes in Wajima and makes and sells wine, and they produce many delicious wines that I also regularly stock at my bar in Ebisu.
Regarding that Heidi Winery, while the brewery somehow survived the earthquake in January, the building housing the winery's shop and restaurant was completely destroyed. As if that wasn't difficult enough, the road to the vineyard was washed away by the major flooding in September, and the grapevines just before harvest were also knocked over..
The winery is in a semi-destroyed state, there is no road to the vineyard, and the grapevines have fallen over... It is such severe damage that I feel it is beyond the power of an individual to do anything about.
So.
Because of my connection to them through stocking their wine at my bar, I wanted to help somehow, so I told them, "If you have any surplus labels, all of us volunteers will buy them!" and their reply was,if you could please buy these 4 types in the photo, was their response.
They apparently have 1,000 bottles of each in stock (!)

1,000 bottles of each means 4,000 bottles in total.
For those who have the desire to support them, and for wine lovers, won't you please join me in buying and supporting them?
I am sure there are many people who want to support Noto and Wajima somehow.
How about taking this opportunity?
Wine keeps well, so you can drink it slowly over several years.
If you would like, won't you help buy them with me?
As for the taste, honestly, all four are delicious.
They are delicious enough that I usually stock them at my bar in Ebisu. The quality of Japanese wine is very high right now, and I believe all four of these are of a high level.
By the way, I had sommelier Yuichi Hiraga (wine bar "WINE & ROSES Tokiwadai") compare them and give me his impressions.
I have posted them below, so please use them as a reference for the taste (he gave me his impressions flatly, rather than out of a sense of support).
There are two ways to apply.
● Come to my bar in Ebisu and take them home (it might be heavy).
Please come to the bar. At that time, please bring a bag or something that can carry several bottles. The bar is cashless. Please use a card or PayPay. I do not have a liquor sales license, so the method will be for you to drink them and take them home. I will provide them at almost cost price.
By the way,the bar is "Friends Only". It is limited to friends, acquaintances, and their companions, but thank you for your understanding.
● Choose mail delivery (shipping fees apply).
Please fill out the Google form below.
For payment methods in the case of mail delivery, I will send an invoice to the email address you provided. Shipping fees and other details are written on the Google form.
※ This time, my friend Yoshimichi Machida (Omori Sanno Brewery), who has a liquor sales license, has agreed to cooperate with the delivery.
To avoid burdening the winery staff, the wine will be sent in bulk from the winery to either the Sato household or Machida-san's Omori Sanno Brewery, and then sent to everyone from there.
※※ Machida-san's "Omori Sanno Brewery," who offered to take on this heavy burden this time. Their craft beers are all delicious, and I stock them as a staple at my bar. Please take this opportunity to try them.

We will ship them one by one by hand in the order applications are received.
We will proceed slowly so as not to burden the winery, soit would be helpful if you could wait a few weeks to a month for arrival.
For shipping convenience, I would be happy if you could buy an "even number" of bottles.
"I'll buy a large amount since I'm at it" is also very welcome (if you are buying a large amount, it would be helpful if you could send me an email or message directly instead of using the form). → satonao310@gmail.com (I have used full-width characters for the @ mark to prevent spam, so please send it using a half-width character)
+++++++++
Now, I will post the comments from the sommelier (Yuichi Hiraga: wine bar "WINE & ROSES Tokiwadai").
They are all delicious, but please use these as a reference for what they taste like when analyzed in detail.
From the left in the photo.
● Zen no Sato Wine
A beautiful ruby color with medium intensity and transparency. The strawberry-like or candy-like aroma common in MBA (Muscat Bailey A) is weak, and a grassy aroma felt somewhat stronger. This is different from the aroma of barrels, etc. The taste is dry, the acidity is firm, and the fruitiness is light.
● Yama Sauvignon
The 2016 Yama Sauvignon, which is 8 years old, does not yet show orange at the rim of the glass, and you don't feel those years much from its appearance. The aroma has a caramel scent that seems to be from the Maillard reaction due to aging, and conversely, the wild, burdock-like aroma that is characteristic of Yama Sauvignon has settled down. Although the acidity can be said to be firm as is typical for Yama Sauvignon, it has a mellow finish, and combined with the aged feel of the aroma, it can be enjoyed more than its price suggests.
● Senri Petit Verdot
As is typical for Bordeaux varieties, it has a slightly blackish garnet hue, but it is not so dark that you cannot see through it. Although it should still be young at 2022, the aroma is not very closed, but rather shows a nice sense of unity. If I had tasted it blind, I don't think I would have guessed it was a Petit Verdot because the tannins are so smooth, and the balance of fruitiness and umami is very good. It is delicious to drink now, and the wine quality is not so weak that it will pass its peak immediately. Also, rather than the aroma itself, a spicy flavor characteristic of Petit Verdot can be felt in the finish.
● Senri Merlot Rosé
A color more like a light-toned red wine than a rosé. The woody, refreshing aroma is strong, not minty, and the fruit aroma is weak. The acidity is firm but the fruitiness is light, and perhaps because of that, the tannins, which are by no means abundant, are felt as astringency.
So, for those who have the desire, please do!

I will continue to write the bar diary at a relaxed pace, so thank you.↓ Magazine "Bar Diary 'From a Corner of Ebisu'"
