I always used to cut the top and bottom off AI-generated text.

When I try to copy text generated by AI, I end up selecting the introduction and conclusion along with it.

"Understood. I have prepared the following text." ...Necessary text... "How is this? Please check it."

I only need the middle part. But it takes effort to cut off the top and bottom.

..., this was quietly annoying.

If you have it put inside a box, you can copy it with one tap.

If you tell the AI to "output in a code block" or "put it inside a box," it will output the text inside a gray box.

A copy button appears in the top right of that box.

Just by pressing this, you can copy only the text inside the box. No need to worry about the introduction or conclusion. You can get just what you need with one tap.

Situations where this helped me

When I had it generate a cooking recipe

I want to quickly paste just the recipe part into my personal LINE group. But if I have it output normally, the explanation "Here is the recipe" gets copied along with it. If I say "output in a code block," only the recipe comes out inside the box. Just press the copy button, and you can paste it as is.

When I had it create a prompt to pass to another AI

I want to copy it and paste it directly into another AI. If I have it output in a box, I can copy it without any extra stuff mixed in.

Well then.

You should leave things you don't need to remember to machines.

However, just by adding a little ingenuity to "how you ask," things become much easier.

Just knowing this makes me feel like I've gained a little something. There's still plenty of room for growth, right? (laughs)
