Cut 131. Autumn Colors at the Tateshina Villa
Autumn, with its full-scale fall foliage and nuts, has arrived at the Tateshina villa as well. This is the scene on October 24, 2025.

The villa grounds are colorful, with green, yellow, orange, and red. The tree in the center, which is over 20 meters tall, is a painted maple.

The Korean maple is the one that turns the deepest red. It stands out beautifully against the white trunk of the white birch.

The Enkianthus campanulatus turns color along with its fruit.

The burning bush has stunning red leaves and fruit.

The Lonicera morrowii has gold and silver flowers, but its fruit is bright red. Both the flowers and the fruit stick out upwards.

The red fruit of the Japanese winterberry hangs downwards.

The fruit of the sapphire berry is a vivid lapis lazuli color.

When I stepped outside the grounds and walked along the road, I found a Japanese spindle tree.

The fruit of the Japanese yew, a conifer, is also bright red.
Autumn in the Tateshina Highlands can be enjoyed through the vivid colors of the trees.
