How I felt hopeless after my Threads account was banned, but felt a bit lighter after putting my phone away
When my Threads account was suspended,
I honestly felt pretty down...🫠🫠🫠
It was an account I had created thinking, "I'm going to do my best from here on out!!٩(๑`^´๑)۶🔥✨️"
and it happened right after I published a paid note, so...😭💔
"Maybe I won't be able to monetize this account..."
Feeling that way,
I just stared blankly for a while.
I was in a daze...😭

But,
a few days after I couldn't use the account anymore,
I suddenly realized something.
Maybe I was more tired of social media
than I thought...
Worrying about notifications,
looking at the numbers, and comparing myself to people who were growing.
"I have to post more"
"I have to think of better threads"
I had been looking at my phone the whole time with those feelings🥺
Of course, I don't want to deny people who are working hard on social media.
In fact, there are many people who monetize by using social media and note together, and I think that works for some people.
But I,
was still feeling a bit overwhelmed.
Even though I was spending time with my family,
honestly, my mind was only on my posts.
Even when I was with my children, I was worried about notifications.
I have to reply to comments...
I have to return likes...
Even though I started this side hustle 'for my family' and 'for my own peace of mind',
before I knew it, I had lost that peace of mind 🥺
So, the time I couldn't use Threads,
might have been a digital detox in a way.
The time I spent looking at my phone decreased,
and I was able to talk slowly with my family,
or just drink coffee while zoning out ☕
I felt a little saved by those small moments.
I was depressed about being banned, but it wasn't all bad 🥹💓

And now,
I have started thinking about other things.
"Isn't there a way to monetize
without having to keep working so hard on social media?"
In this day and age,
information about "social media x note" is everywhere.
But... I think it would be amazing if we could create a way to continue more calmly, with note at the center.
It might not go well.
I'll surely take the long way around.
But, if there are any moms or dads out there like me who think,
"I want a side hustle, but social media burns me out,"
"I'm not good at social media,"
"I want to monetize without using social media,"
then I think it's okay to have a method that doesn't use tools like Threads or X
as one form of a "side hustle that doesn't push yourself too hard."
A way of working where you don't wear down your time with your family too much,
while keeping a little room in your heart,
and cherishing the little joys 🍀
Perhaps, somewhere in my heart,
I've always wanted to aim for that kind of side hustle.
That's why, on this account,
while taking the long way around in my own clumsy way,
I intend to explore "monetization that isn't overly swayed by social media" ☕🌷

If there is anyone out there right now who is feeling tired from looking at social media...
Spending some time with your phone turned off might be a good idea too 😊💓
For information on the monetization I am currently practicing on a separate account, please check here 💛 I achieved 0 to 1 in 7 days of posting 🎊 (This also includes content for the version that uses Threads in parallel) ⬇️
