Introducing and Being Introduced, Smiling Shyly in Front of the Screen
Have you ever had your article introduced by someone?
Or have you ever written a recommendation article?
As someone who has experienced both, here is what I can say.
It is this:
Whether reading or writing an introduction article, you end up smiling shyly.
That is what I mean.
When being introduced, it goes without saying that it is an explosion of joy: 'Wow! I can't believe they introduced my article like this!' I take screenshots of the introduction, leave comments, introduce the article that introduced me in return, and even share it on X saying, 'I was introduced, hehe.'
I bask in the lingering afterglow of happiness for a while, unable to stop the grinning and shy blushing.
And when I am the one introducing, I am actually a little (or rather, quite) nervous. I worry, 'Will they be annoyed that I introduced them?' or 'Did I write something rude?' Even while feeling that anxiety and tension, I write it with the feeling of, 'I want you to read this! It's just so good!'
Isn't it embarrassing to introduce something you love to someone else? It is, isn't it? That is why I end up writing introduction articles while feeling shy.
(I write a serialized project article like this every week.)
Last week, that back-and-forth of introducing and being introduced, of grinning and blushing, unfolded like a rally between me and one fellow noter, Takakusaki-san.
Takakusaki-san is a truly kind and thoughtful person. They always give me words that are like treasures. They are also an avid reader.
And then, lion-san joined in, and a new project and a new hashtag were born.
Both of them have such wonderful ways of thinking. They are just too wonderful.
How can we increase and connect this "happiness" of introducing and being introduced? This project was created while thinking about recommended articles and support features.
Have you ever used the support feature?
"That was so interesting! I was moved! Thank you, thank you! Thank you for such a wonderful article! I can't bear to read this for free! Please accept my feelings!!!!" That's how I use it. (At least, that's how I do it.)
But for some reason, the person who receives "support" feels embarrassed. For some reason, a sense of guilt arises that isn't there with paid articles.
Taking that into account, Takakusaki-san and lion-san convey the following:
"I support you because I want to."
"It's happiness whether you support or are supported."
"Support is a feeling of gratitude."
"I'll recommend it on my own."
That is what they are conveying.
Exactly! That's it!
I recommend articles I like on my own, and it's the best when followers who read those articles go there and say, "I came from [Name]! That was interesting!"
It's like a feeling of grins and shy smiles spreading.
What do you call that? It's a #HappinessAmplifier.
And it's a #UnsolicitedNoteRecommendation.
My weekly project is also truly an unsolicited note recommendation and a happiness amplifier.
Note is overflowing with kindness and happiness, isn't it...♡
