I suddenly thought that calling the modern age a 'flood of information' might be too mild. That's just a feeling I have, though.
People seem to be swallowed by a vortex of information. I wonder how many people are actually swimming in this current—or rather, how many are actually able to swim.

In this world where information rushes in like a muddy torrent every day, there are indeed various doorways—or rather, entrances—everywhere.
In fact, aren't they scattered all over the place? It might even be rarer to find a place without an entrance.

Here and there, there are mountains of advertisements saying things like, 'This is fun!' 'This is a great deal!' or 'This is useful!'

For people exhausted by such a vast amount of information, the act of opening an entrance door might be exhausting in itself.
I imagine that there are even people who are tired of the very act of 'choosing which door to open.'

If you find yourself exhausted by the information, cost-performance, and time-performance of this modern age.

If you are tired of choosing itself, I personally think it's okay to take a break for a while.

Sleep plenty, eat what you want to eat, and move your body.

After repeating those things, when you think, 'I've rested enough, I think I'm ready to move again,' then...

It's also fine to stand in front of a door again at that moment.

At that time, you might surely know how you should choose. It depends on the person, though.

I think there are many ways to choose, but personally, I believe the key is 'curiosity.' Perhaps you could call it following the direction that smells good, in a way.

The direction that makes you feel excited.
The direction that is useless but makes your heart leap.
The direction that serves no purpose but makes you think, 'What's that? It looks fun!'

Of course, there is also the balance with your real life.
It is very difficult to choose while ignoring everything about the life right in front of you.

That is precisely why.
You need to skillfully align your 'This looks fun!' with the reality in front of you and incorporate it into your life.

I secretly think that thinking, executing, and going through trial and error there is the fun part.

And if you can successfully make 'fun!' and your real life work together...

I think that would be a very ideal life.
