The Secret of the Music Room

The 9th installment of imaginative inspiration from three prompts

Preface
This time's prompts are "refrigerator," "shooting star," and "music room."
I started writing without knowing myself how these three would connect.
Before I knew it, I had transcended time and space to arrive at a music room in medieval Europe, where a story was born.

The Secret of the Music Room
What if there were a modern world in medieval Europe?
Would you want to go there?
I have been there. Please listen to that story.

A music room containing a piano said to have been used by Beethoven.
There was a young man there—a composer who was still unknown.
He, who loved Beethoven dearly,
composed music on that piano every day.

He had someone who secretly supported him.
That person gifted the young man a secret box called a refrigerator.
That refrigerator was a mysterious one,
where the contents never decreased no matter how much you ate.

One day, the young man was playing a piece he had written, as he always did.
Those who heard the song could not stop their tears from falling.
The rumor spread in an instant, and he was invited to the music hall
where Beethoven was said to have performed.

And then, he unveiled his new piece—"Shooting Star."
The audience all shed tears in silence, and he won the competition.
Having become an overnight sensation, a life in the holy land of music was prepared for the young man.
However, he declined the offer and remained by Beethoven's piano.
The melody of "Shooting Star" is surely still wiping away someone's tears somewhere even now.

Afterword
A mysterious story of music born from prompts that seemed unrelated at first glance:
refrigerator, shooting star, and music room.
While writing, I myself began to want to hear this young man's performance.
