Descriptions and Poems of Cat Artworks
Spring Light, Once More

[Artwork 2] "Spring Light, Once More"
In this piece, two cats stand wrapped in soft spring light. One gazes directly at us without looking away, while the other stares off into the distance. The subtle difference in their expressions feels like a contrast between "here and now" and "somewhere in the past." The lines of their faces and the shapes of their eyes are drawn with careful detail, where tranquility and unease coexist.
The flowers filling the background are primarily pale pink and lilac. Cherry blossom-like motifs overlap, creating a scene that is both vibrant and somewhat ephemeral. The composition, where the boundaries between the flowers and the cats blur together, gives the impression of memories and emotions bleeding into one another.
This painting depicts the emotions found between "reunion" and "farewell." The flowers in the background represent memories of the past, and the cats are preparing to welcome a new season while carrying those memories with them. The title, "Spring Light, Once More," holds a small wish: "I want to see you again," "I want to smile again."
I have posted this on Instagram, so please take a look if you'd like. I would be happy if you felt free to react. I will continue to post descriptions of my work and more.
