Pulling myself together and continuing from yesterday
Oh no, I messed up!
Today, after that,
I've recovered from the shock to some extent
and reset my mindset.
First, I'm starting from the very beginning, threading the serger.
With my clumsy hands, I desperately threaded it while looking at the instruction diagram using both my reading glasses and a magnifying glass.
What I thought at that moment
Huh? Somehow, threading feels easier than before.
I think this is because I've done it over and over, so the image has become ingrained in my mind.

I kept moving my eyes back and forth between the actual machine and the diagram,
and at the beginning, it was truly a struggle.
The thread was hard to pass through, too💦
It took a very long time.
At that time, my aversion to threading grew stronger.
Poor eyesight was also one of the causes.
This time,
I did it while shining a small LED light.
Being in the dark is also a cause of difficulty.
And then, the nerve-wracking test run without fabric.
It's forming a proper thread chain.

Yay!
Success!❣️
If you've made a mistake somewhere, you can't do this.
It has caused me so much trouble until now.
Now then,
continuing from yesterday.
I'm attaching the ruffle to the bodice.
This time, I looked and touched it many times
to make sure the fabric wasn't getting caught.
And then, another problem occurred‼️
Oh no😨
One of the threads ran out!
I have to set up a new thread.
Threading again, huh... *sweat*
Pulling myself together, I succeeded in threading the machine and
here is the continuation.

Oh my, that was nerve-wracking,
I'm exhausted,
but I feel relieved now.😮💨
I want to finish here, but
the cuffs are still left.
If it were just folding it in three and sewing it, it would be
no problem, but
the length isn't enough.
About 3cm more.
So, I will attach the ruffles for the cuffs that I desperately made yesterday.
I'll adjust them while checking the size of the opening and the fullness of the ruffles.
What a tedious task this is.
Once I managed to get them to match,
it's break time again.
I always take a break before using the sewing machine.
It's a lesson learned from past failures.
After resting a little, I'll start attaching the ruffles.
After that, I was able to successfully attach the ruffles to the cuffs.

do the topstitching.
The problem is the back panel I cut yesterday.

the back,
I can't be satisfied with it as it is,
and I don't feel like wearing it.
After thinking about it in various ways,

it's a bit high up,
and it feels a bit too cute, but
I decided to do it like this with the little bit of leftover fabric.
This way, the cut part will be somewhat hidden.
When making this,
actually, another problem occurred.
What now?
The serger needle broke 😢
So, I had to use a screwdriver to change the needle plus
I had to thread it all over again.
That's it for today,
I've reached my limit 😵
I think I'll just sew this on by hand tomorrow.
Thank you for reading
until the end.
