I believe the final amounts introduced in past articles are correct, but I have organized the content of past articles regarding discount displays and mechanisms to align with the combination rules I confirmed this time. This article also serves as a confirmation of that.
Types of Discounts
The official SwitchBot website The discounts available on can be roughly divided into the following six types.
Official Discounts (Tuesday Sale, 72-hour Sale, Monthly Sale, etc.)
Member-only Point Coupons (Product Discount)

Combination Rules
This is the most confusing point.
1. Official Discounts can be combined with any of 3, 5, or 6
(You can apply 3, 5, or 6 to the price after 1 discount)2. Product Discount Coupons are not combinable (Can only be used alone)
3. Order Discount Coupons are only combinable with 1
(4) Bulk purchase discount can be used in combination with any of (3), (5), or (6) (You can apply (3), (5), or (6) to the price after the (4) discount is applied).
(5) Affiliate referral coupon can only be used in combination with (1)
(6) Other coupons can only be used in combination with (1)
Also, if they cannot be used together, the one with the highest discount rate will be applied automatically.
How do you actually use them?
To summarize, it basically boils down to these 3 patterns.
Buying sale items → (1) + ((3), (5), or (6))
Bulk purchase → (4) + ((3), (5), or (6))
Using points all at once → (2) (applied alone)
It is important to understand the differences between (3), (5), and (6) here.
(3) Order discount coupon → Uses points (1 Pt = ¥4 equivalent)
(5) Affiliate referral coupon (AF-4903) → Always 5% off at no cost
(6) Other coupons → Distributed via email subscriptions or campaigns. You won't receive them unless you are a registered member, so it's worth registering even if you don't plan to buy anything right now. They are sometimes larger than affiliate referral coupons, so be sure to check.
In other words, if you are unsure, entering (5) "AF-4903" will definitely save you money.
If you combine it with a sale, you can purchase at the "lowest price level," so I recommend using it without fail.
The correct way to use points
As written above, the way to use points is
(2) Product discount coupons are not stackable (can only be used alone)
(3) Order discount coupons are only stackable with (1)
There are two types, but the issue here is whether they can be used together. If the (2) coupon is cheaper than (1) official discount coupons (discounts during sales) + (5) affiliate referral coupons (AF-4903), you should use it, but in many cases, it is not cheaper.
Therefore, the recommended way to use them is to apply the (3) Order discount coupon (1p = 4 yen) to low-priced items (over 2,000 yen for free shipping) during a sale.
If you absolutely must buy something when there is no sale, it is not out of the question to use the (2) Product discount coupon, but if possible, I think it is more cost-effective to use it in the form of (3) during a sale.
