I published an e-book on Kindle!

I did something early in the new year that I had wanted to try for a long time.
I published a Kindle book on Amazon!

The book I published this time is a collection of short stories.
It contains seven short stories I published on this note last year, focusing on stories where "the protagonist is an object, not a person."
The included works are as follows:

1. Reincarnation of a Water Droplet
2. Tears of a Towel
3. Event Staff
4. Departure of a Paper Bag
5. The One I Loved the Most
6. Pride of a 100-Yen Coin
7. That's All for Today

In addition to these seven stories, I have added an "Introduction," "Afterword," "Author Profile," and "Colophon."

Also, the seven short stories have been revised and expanded from what was published on note, so settings and backgrounds that weren't written at the time may have been added.
Therefore, I think those of you who read them on note will be able to enjoy them again.

Also, since I cannot publish a book if these short stories remain as free articles on note, I have changed them to paid articles.
The ways to read the seven stories above are currently set as follows:

- Buy the 7 articles on note: 700 yen (100 yen per story x 7. Can be purchased individually)
- Buy the e-book normally on Amazon: 350 yen
- For Kindle Unlimited members: 0 yen (included in unlimited reading)

Honestly, I feel hesitant to ask you to pay to read them.
So, I would be happy if at least those who are Kindle Unlimited members could take a look first.

But!

This is my first book that I worked hard to create.

After all, I want as many people as possible to see it!

So, first of all,

a 2-day free campaign

I decided to hold!
The free period is as follows:

January 15th (Sun) 17:00 - January 17th (Tue) 16:59

During this period, even if you are not a Kindle Unlimited member,

you can download it for 0 yen!

I would be happy if you could take this opportunity to check it out!
And I would be even happier if you could leave a review, even if it's just a star rating.
Thank you.

...Since I've only written about promotions, I'll write a little bit about this book from here on.

I had been thinking for a while that I would eventually like to collect my short stories and publish them as an e-book.
After confirming at the end of 2022 that I had managed to publish 20 short stories on note, the desire to compile them into a book gradually welled up.

Over the New Year holidays, I looked through every note article and website I could find about Kindle publishing to understand the process. From January, I re-subscribed to Kindle Unlimited, which I had been a member of before.
Once I became a Kindle Unlimited member, I read a mountain of books related to Kindle publishing. They were all easy to understand, and there are truly so many books published on the subject. As I read them, my desire to publish grew even stronger.

The first thing I started with was creating the cover.
While it seems common to hire a professional on sites like Coconala, I made it myself.
I have always enjoyed web design, such as designing and building my own website, and I chose to make it myself because of the benefit of being able to revise it whenever I want.
I learned how to make it on YouTube.
I created it in PowerPoint and converted it to a JPEG file. It was almost my first time using PowerPoint, but it was easy to use.

Once the cover was finished, it felt like publishing suddenly became a reality.

After that, I created the main text and converted it into the e-book file format.
I followed the steps in the Kindle books I had read to proceed with this part.

Then, I registered for Kindle publishing and uploaded the completed cover and text files.
There is a review process for publishing, and it is said that the review is completed within a maximum of 72 hours, but in my case, it was finished in about 4 hours. From that moment on, my book became available for purchase on Amazon. I was deeply moved!

Following this process, and after making some minor adjustments, I have finally decided to announce it to everyone today.

As the book title includes 'Sakusaku Bunko 1', I hope to turn this into a series with 2, 3, and so on in the future.

My goal is Shinichi Hoshi.
I want to write a mountain of short-shorts and short stories on note and turn them into many books.

So, that was the announcement of my first published book.

To continue writing many more short stories, I want to read many books, have various experiences, and expand my own world.

Dreaming of being able to create something that can be enjoyed by as many people as possible, even if just for a moment...
