[Picture Book] Roll, Roll, Rolling Along

This is another story featuring the animals from "The Dozo Chair."
The rabbit who made that "chair" is now making a large, round table. Thinking he would place it somewhere everyone could use it, the rabbit loads it onto a cart-like vehicle and rolls it along.
Then, little by little, the load gets lighter...
Seeing how delighted the animals are with the big table, the rabbit spends the whole night making something.

It is a story full of kind feelings of caring for one another, and it is a picture book that naturally makes you smile when reading it with your children.
The illustrations are by Kozo Kakimoto, the same artist as in "The Dozo Chair."
Beyond the wonderful story, the animals are drawn so adorably that I think even small children who cannot read yet will enjoy just looking at the pictures.
When I left the picture book on the desk, my son walked by, said, "Oh, this is nostalgic! We had this, didn't we!" and picked it up, reading it while standing there with a big smile before walking away.
