Use Them in 5 Minutes Between Chores! 5 AI Tools for Housewives in Their 40s (Includes Copy-Paste Prompts)
I have carefully selected only 5 tools that I actually use every day, even though I used to think 'AI seems difficult.' They come with copy-paste prompts, so you can start using them today. All you need is your smartphone. No computer skills required.
This article is written for people like those below.
✅ You are interested in AI but don't know where to start
✅ You feel stuck thinking it's 'too difficult' or 'not for me'
✅ You are too busy to find time to study
✅ You can use a smartphone but are not good with computers
If you are like the people mentioned above, please read until the end.
I'll be honest.
At first, I was terrified of AI.
'It seems kind of difficult'
'It would be embarrassing if I couldn't master it'
'What if I make a mistake that can't be undone?'
Thinking things like that,
I kept the screen closed for a long time.
But—
Once I gathered the courage to try it out.
'Wait, this is easier than doing chores.'
I seriously thought that (lol).
AI just needs you to talk to it.
'I want to write an article like this, give me some ideas'
'Make this text a little easier to understand'
'I want you to turn my experience into a social media post'
Just by doing this, it will work for you.
Today, I will introduce 5 tools that I actually use every day.
All of them are free (or have a free plan).
A smartphone is all you need.
'AI seems difficult'—I thought that too before I started
Once I tried it, it was easier than doing chores
Role: Generating ideas and creating article outlines
The first one I want you to use is ChatGPT.
It is so famous that when people think of AI, they think of this, so
I am sure many of you have heard the name.
My way of using it is simple.
I use it **"when I am stuck for ideas" and "when I am creating the outline for an article."**
For example, I talk to it like this:
Ready-to-copy prompt (for brainstorming)
Just by pasting this,
20 ideas will line up in a row.
The time I spent worrying, "I can't think of anything at all..."
feels like a lie.

Tool 2 | Claude
Role: Polishing and refining text
Once I have created the outline with ChatGPT, I pass it on to Claude.
Claude is good at making text "easy to read and easy to understand."
It is especially useful when you think, **"I wrote it, but it's a bit stiff" or "I want a little more warmth."**
Ready-to-copy prompt (for polishing text)
以下の文章を、40代主婦が読んで「わかる!」と共感できるように
書き直してください。
【条件】
・短い文章でテンポよく(一文は50字以内)

Tool 3 | Canva
Role: Creating images for social media and header images for note
If it's just text, it's easy to be scrolled past on social media.
But creating images is hard, isn't it?
With Canva, you can quickly create
professional-looking images just by choosing a template and changing the text.
No design knowledge is required at all.
I especially use it for
X (Twitter) post images and note header images.
There are many templates, so
I just pick one I like,
and change only the text.
That alone makes your posts look completely different.
Prompts you can copy and use as-is (words to enter in the Canva search bar)
・「SNS投稿 シンプル」
・「note ヘッダー 女性向け」
・「Instagram 縦型 温かみ」This will bring up many usable templates.

Tool 4 | NotebookLM
Role: Convert your own experiences and notes into content
Not many people know about this yet, but—
it is the tool I have been most impressed by lately.
It is an AI created by Google,
and you can use it to "load your own notes and diaries to get suggestions for article topics."
In other words—
Even for parenting diaries.
Even for household account book notes.
Even for scribbles about 'what happened today'.
When you put them into NotebookLM,
it tells you, 'This could be an article topic.'
The idea that 'there are no topics in my daily life' was just an assumption.
A housewife's daily life is a treasure trove of content in itself.

以下は私の日常のメモです。

5つ提案してください。
各テーマに「なぜ共感されるか」を一言添えてください。

Tool 5 | Notion
Role: Managing article ideas, schedules, and progress
The fifth one is more of a "management tool" than an AI.
But without this—
the content you worked so hard to create with AI will
end up scattered everywhere, leaving you wondering, "Wait, where did I write that?"
Notion is the place to
**"keep your ideas, articles in progress, and published articles"**
all in one place.
How I use Notion is simple.
| Idea Title | Status | Published Date |
|---|---|---|
| The story of how I got exhausted from saving too much money | Drafting | — |
| I tried making a meal plan with AI | Published | 4/1 |
| Things I'm glad I became a sole proprietor | Not started | — |
That's it.
The time you spend worrying about "what should I write today?" will disappear.

What changes when you master these 5 tools
Know the roles, and you can act without hesitation
| Tool | When to use |
|---|---|
| ChatGPT | Brainstorming ideas and creating article outlines |
| Claude | Polishing and refining text |
| Canva | Creating SNS images and note header images |
| NotebookLM | Converting daily notes into content ideas |
| Notion | Managing ideas, articles, and schedules |
Once you master these five—
the time it takes to write one article
will go from 2-3 hours to under 30 minutes.
The anxiety of "I have to post every day"
will also fade away.
To the next step
This is the last free article.
For those of you who have read this far,
you already have the "big picture of the blueprint" and the "initial tools".
In the next paid article ①—
"How to convert daily worries and experiences into content that earns money on note or SNS"
I will reveal the entire concrete workflow.
"I don't know what to write."
"Does anyone really care about my experiences?"
This content is for those of you who feel this way.
