[Garlic Shrimp]
■ Ingredients (for 2 servings)
Peeled shrimp: 300g
Garlic: 2 cloves (minced)
Onion: 1/2 (minced)
Lemon: 1/2 (sliced into rounds)
Dried chili pepper: 1
Butter: 20g
Soy sauce: 1 tbsp
Lemon juice: 1 tsp
Parsley: to taste
Salt: a pinch
Olive oil: to taste
■ Instructions
1. Finely chop the garlic and onion, and slice the lemon into rounds.
2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan, add the garlic and chili pepper, and sauté until fragrant.
3. Add the onion and shrimp and sauté.
→ Add the butter, salt, soy sauce, and lemon juice, and stir-fry together.
4. Plate it up, top with parsley and lemon, and it's ready!
■ Cooking Tips
Sauté the garlic over medium-low heat to bring out the aroma without burning it.
The best time to add the butter and soy sauce is after the shrimp is cooked through.
Squeeze some lemon over the top at the end to boost the freshness!
It's also delicious served with baguette or pasta 🍝
■ The Secret to the Flavor
The key is sautéing the garlic to release its aroma without burning it.
The rich flavor of butter and soy sauce coats the plump shrimp,
while the refreshing lemon ties it all together 🍋
Perfect for a weekend snack or as a pasta topping too.
