Is it ultimately about personality?
This is Nekome, who visited the same hospital yesterday (May 10th) for the same symptoms as when I went in for tonsillitis on May 20th last year, 2023.Good evening, everyone.
It seems like a throat cold is going around. Please be thorough with hand washing, gargling, and throat lozenges to manage your health, and take care not to let it get worse. Otherwise, you will have a miserable time.
Currently, my throat is extremely painful. Perhaps the most painful part of tonsillitis is the excruciating pain that shoots through your throat just from swallowing saliva. This year, it was accompanied by a fever, but the throat pain was even more pronounced.
That being the case,
“It’s just a throat cold, so it’s fine, haha, it’s only my throat!”
This is not the time to laugh it off. If your throat hurts every time you swallow tea, please see a doctor immediately.
To avoid being told, “Ah, it would be faster if you just got hospitalized,” I took time off work this time to go to the hospital.
As expected of tranexamic acid, antibiotics, PA tablets, Asverin, etc... my fever has completely gone down. The power of a single pill is truly amazing.
*By the way, oral antibiotics are not available over the counter, so if you are planning to manage with over-the-counter medicine, please give up quickly and get a prescription from a hospital.
Changing the subject, here is the main topic.
Is it ultimately about personality?
This happened when I visited a real estate company and spoke with the president there for about an hour. From small details to things like the meaning of life, I was able to hear a very dense conversation in just a short 60 minutes.
What I felt during that time was“Ultimately, it comes down to personality.”Whether it is a customer or a staff member, when asking for something, requesting work, or doing business, isn't the thing that is ultimately valued, in the end, personality?
Personality The nature and character inherent in that person
Why?
That is becauseyou and I are human beings.
In other words, in the sense that the person you are dealing with is ultimately a human, no service is any different.
Before the company's system, convenience, atmosphere, or policies, I thought that the personality that person possesses might actually be the most important thing.
For example, when entrusting a detached house to someone, can everything be decided by the real estate company's manual or policies?
When leaving your precious child with a babysitter, can you really feel at ease just by reading through the company's philosophy?
When asking for the cremation of a pet that has passed away, do you worry about the funeral company's policies?
Or perhaps you might be strongly impressed by a company's policies, philosophy, or the messages written there.
However,
More than that, a real estate agent who handles things with sincere, genuine, and heartfelt care, a veteran babysitter A who you can easily consult about your child, or a funeral director B who tears up while talking about how pets are family members are far more trustworthy. After all, the connection is much closer.
Your heart is moved to think, "I want to entrust this to this person."
"This person" eventually becomes "this company," and isn't that how we connect?
No matter how solid a company's philosophy may be, or how magnificent the system a corporation has built, honestly speaking, I would not want to entrust anything to someone who neglects individuals. Personally, that is how I felt.
In this modern age overflowing with various promotional media like SNS, when you get down to it, isn't it ultimately about the individual (their personality)?... That was the kind of day I had.
Thank you for staying with me until the end today! Everyone, please be very careful about catching a cold. Do not underestimate it just because the symptoms are only a sore throat. Please take care of your throat so that you can enjoy eating delicious food tomorrow.
Well then, see you again next week!
