Blooming Now

In the silence,
in the sea of gravel,
a white star bloomed all alone.

The tiny seed I spilled that day
quietly, so quietly,
had been weaving time.

Without anyone noticing,
while whispering to the wind,
it was warming its dreams deep in the soil.

In a place where I thought no grass would ever grow,
you bloomed,
even though we never made a promise.

Trusting the memory of the seasons
more than my own memory,
those petals opened softly now.

—Hey, are you watching?
I haven't forgotten, you know.

Look, watch this.
Your little hope, too,
is blooming—right now.

Afterword
I heard that it's hard for flowers to grow in gravel, but the 'Nigella' I grew in a pot a few years ago in the garden is blooming this year lol. I wanted flowers that would turn into dried flowers. 🤗 I'm moved by their strong vitality. (*´ω`*) I wonder if they'll bloom again next year~ 🌸

This week is Chapter 5 (*´ω`*)

An adventure story about Theo, a little bird born blind in his right eye.
Theo sets out on a journey to find the "Third Eye," said to be able to see everything in the world, and learns more and more about the world by meeting various animals.

And finally, in Chapter 5, he has arrived at the island where the "Third Eye" is said to be. Theo heads into the dim forest.
