The Reality of Not Being Read and Small Improvements. The Challenge of a 51-Year-Old Father of 6 Continues!
My note debut.
I clutched my smartphone and waited, thinking, "Surely the notifications won't stop ringing!"
…But the result was 9 likes.
Far from notifications, the phone was so quiet I thought it was broken (lol).
But I'd be frustrated to end it here, so I decided to try some small improvements right away.
Is it usually like this at first? But when I think about it calmly, it's only natural.
After all, nobody knows me, and I'm starting from zero followers.
I'm not someone on TV, nor am I a famous blogger.
There's no way an article written by someone like that would suddenly get a lot of reactions.
"It's normal that nobody reads it at first."
This is a bit of know-how.
Even if you understand it in your head, it's still tough when you experience it (lol).
⸻
I tried some small improvementsSince there's no point in feeling down, I immediately tried a few things.
• Change the article title to be a bit catchier
• Try posting the link on Twitter (X)
• Change the icon to a design that looks more like a challenger
It's just this much, but I feel like more people are coming to see it.
It turns out that "how you present things other than the article" is also important.
⸻
What to do from here?To make the next article feel more like it was "worth reading," I think I'll dig a bit deeper into my own failures and realizations.
While mixing in some know-how, the base will still be a diary.
I feel like that suits me right now.
⸻
Finally
If there is anyone following this series, thank you very much.It has only just begun, but I would be happy if you could enjoy this challenge from zero together with me.
Now, what should I write about next?
